5/4/16 - Verbally committed to Auburn University.

4/10/16 -  Uncommitted senior. 6-foot-2, 200-pound right-handed pitcher, loose limbed. Quick arm action with slight stabbing action on back side, average repeatability, stride opens to first base side some. Fastball flashed life up to 87 mph, sat 84-86 mph. Curveball is an out pitch type, flashed hard sharp break, swing and miss stuff, 71-75 mph.

6/18/15 - Loose lean frame, has athleticism, two-way player, 6-foot-1, 185-pounds. Projects best on the mound. Delivery is directional and athletic, shows slight effort, tall and fall approach, athletic finish. Arm action is quick and loose, high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 85-86 mph, touched 87 mph, comes out easy with slight run to arm side. Curveball has plus potential, sharp hard action, thrown aggressively with fastball arm speed, 11/5 plane, 72-74 mph. Changeup thrown with fastball arm action, showed arm side run, aggressive and occasionally chokes, 79-82 mph. Right-handed hitter, balanced stance, loose athletic swing. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed arm strength across the diamond, ball carries, athletic defender with softer hands. 80 mph across the infield. 7.66 runner in the 60.

3/28/15 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound, right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame. On the mound works from a high ¾ arm angle with a short arm action in the back. Fast arm out of glove. Showed control down in the zone with his fastball that sat 85-87 mph throughout his outing and projects for more. Curveball showed 11-5 shape with big depth and sharp action, already has the makings of a plus pitch. Curveball sat 74-75 mph.

2/8/15 - Athletically built, long lean, projects well, 6-foot-1, 180-pound two-way player. Good upside on the mound, athletic delivery, some effort, stay on line. Arm action is quick, highly athletic, loose arm, arm speed projects for added velocity, high ¾ slot. Fastball has good late finish in the zone, slight arm side run, showed control, 86-88 mph. Curveball has the makings of a plus out pitch, 11/5 action, sharp hard break, 73-76 mph, good depth, showed control, aggressive arm action. Changeup has slight arm side action, thrown with fastball arm speed, 77-80 mph. Offensively, hits from a slightly open stance, smooth loading action, short stride, good balance. Loose athletic hands, showed bat speed, 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed athletic actions, fluid footwork, hands are soft and athletic. Arm played at 82 mph across the diamond, carried, high ¾ slot and accurate. Gahm projects well on the mound and his advanced arm speed is starting to translate on the mound, high ceiling.

2/9/14 - Lanky, athletic frame, 6-foot, 170-pound two-way player, higher projection on the mound. Athletic delivery, tall and fall approach, regular effort. Arm action is clean, high ¾ slot, long loose arm action, quick arm action. Fastball flashed occasional run, 80-81 mph, touched 83 mph, had finish through the zone. Breaking ball has 11/5 shape, left up in the zone, 67-68 mph. Changeup has feel, 72-74 mph, mostly straight. Defensively has a loose arm action, high ¾ arm slot, 79 mph across the diamond. Athletic defender, plays through the baseball. Offensively uses a short stride, athletic hands, 75 mph exit velocity from the tee.

7/23/13 - Lanky frame, slender build, 5-foot-11, 160-pound two way player. Defensively showed soft hands with above average infield actions. Arm plays at 76 mph across the diamond, loose arm action, showed carry and accuracy. At the plate hits from a balanced setup, short stride, slight leg kick. Excellent hands at the plate, shows explosiveness, bat speed present, 83 mph exit velocity from the tee, showed whip through the zone, occasional pull tendency. On the mound works from a tall and fall approach, regular effort. Arm action is long, shows looseness, occasional stab in backswing, high ¾ arm slot, showed quickness. Fastball touched 80 mph, showed run, occasional sink, showed control, sat 77-79 mph. Curveball worked on 11/5 plane, slurve tendencies, showed control at 69-73 mph. Change up thrown with fastball similar arm speed, flashed sink, 73 mph flashing excellent deception. Gahm is one of the more athletic and versatile prospects in Wisconsin’s Class of 2016.

1/27/13 - Long, thin, lanky frame, shows athleticism, long legs, 5-foot-10, 160-pounds. Swings the bat well from the right side, shows bat speed, balanced stance, uses slight leg lift and dives to plate. Lower half works well, very active, good balance throughout. Bat path is short, flashes occasional extension. Line drive approach, shows some quick twitch actions, exhibits barrel whip through the zone. Defensively shows upside, athleticism in actions, hands work well. Arm plays with carry, 75 mph across the diamond, also shows some accuracy. Transfer is long, tends to windup to throw. On the mound delivery shows regular effort, athletic finish. Arm action is over the top and long. Fastball sits 72-74 mph touches 76, fastball shows occasional cut action. Changeup is down, 70-71 mph, thrown with similar arm speed to fastball, gets through the baseball well. Curveball lacks consistent action, 64-65 mph, thrown with arm speed, loose spin, lacks identity.
