Kim took an impactful round of BP, recording the highest average exit speed (93.2 mph) of any player in attendance – and it was a very crowded field. Kim hit five balls over 300 feet, and his furthest travelled an estimated 358. Kim’s speed/strength skillset, and left-handedness, make him among the top uncommitted players in the region.

Hit: LHH. Balanced stance, leg kick trigger, subtle loading action, remains balanced through contact. Short path to the baseball, on time with strong hands that create above average bat speed, slight pull side tendency, hits in rhythm.
Power: 91 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: LH. OF - 88 mph. Long arm action out of a high 3/4 slot, occasionally showed carry.
Defense: Plays through the baseball aggressively, in stride, glovework is out front and fields in stride.
Run: 6.90 runner in the 60. Runs with a purpose, above average speed, effort.

5-foot-10, 180-pound, strong, compact, left/left, outfielder. Stood out for GRB-MKE in their first game of the tournament. Hits in the two-hole and finished 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs scored. Simple approach, stays quiet, lets the ball travel and has easy quick-twitch and bat speed in swing. Uses the middle of the field, controls the barrel and consistently made hard contact. Defensively, natural in the outfield, smooth actions. High-follow 2022 prospect.

Arm: LH. OF - 85 mph. Long arm action, high 3/4 slot, accurate on throws, produced carry. 
Defense: Soft hands, clean exchange leading to quick transfer, plays through the baseball. 
Run: 7.06 runner in the 60.

Delivery: Simple motion, quick tempo, level shoulders, square landing, works in line with his target.

8/5/18 (Junior Future Games) - 5-foot-9, 165-pound left-handed two-way prospect, athletic frame. Offensively, athletic, open setup, hands load back, some barrel wrap, short leg kick stride, maintains good balance. Pull hitter, natural lift to swing, quick hands, throws hips at ball, thrusts through contact, 82 mph exit velocity. Went 4-for-8 on the weekend with a two doubles, two singles, two runs scored, one RBI, two walks and one stolen base. Made adjustments at the plate and stuck with approach. One double came on a two-strike count, going opposite field with an outside pitch., the other double was driven over the center fielder’s head. Defensively, natural instincts in outfield, short arm action, high ¾ slot, 75 mph from the outfield. Ran a 7.44 laser-timed 60. 

6/20/18 - 5-foot-9, 165-pound, athletically-built, left-handed outfielder. Offensively, open setup, leg kick timing trigger, incorporates lower half, maintains good balance through contact. Line drive approach with pull-side pop, long barrel path, gains extension at-times, 85 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.46 laser-timed 60. Defensively, long arm action, high ¾ slot, 75 mph from the outfield. Plays through the ball, quick, fluid footwork, clean on exchanges.

4/28/18 - 5-foot-8, 165-pound, left-handed hitting/throwing outfielder, athletic frame. At the plate, athletic, open setup, smooth wrap load, leg kick trigger, maintains balance throughout. Natural uphill bat path, gap to gap power hitting abilities, fluid rhythm involved. Showed plus contact with athletic hands and present bat speed, exit velocity topped 88 mph from a tee. Defensively plays through the ball, quick, clean exchange, arm plays long, high ¾ slot. Throws had some accuracy and topped 76 mph from the outfield. 7.88 runner in the 60.
