+ OF Levi Boivin (Neenah, 2027) is a strong and sturdy 6-foot-1, 217 pounds with good proportions and an athletic build. Boivin showed out well on Sunday with his performance with the bat. He was hitting with very fast hands through the hitting zone and driving the ball to all fields. Boivin’s hit tool was certainly on display throughout his round. During outfield defense he was working aggressively through the ball and showed quality actions with good direction towards the target. Boivin is a name we continue to like and his performance on Sunday solidified our opinion.

Boivin, coming in at an athletic 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame, had an impressive day at the plate on Sunday. The JFG-alum went 2-for-3 with a backside triple over the RF’s head, exhibiting the ability to hit the ball to all sides of the field. He also was able to showcase range in the outfield this weekend covering ground to make several plays. Mechanically, Boivin presented a medium load with a strong lower half, loose hands, and notable bat speed. He played a huge role in BennieBoys Gold’s offense and helped provide the spark that lifted them to a 7-5 comeback victory.
PBR Junior Future Games: C/OF Levi Boivin (Neenah, 2027) is a physical, 6-foot, 185 pound, right/right prospect that showed well at Tuesday’s Junior Future Games workout. With a maximum exit velocity of 86 mph, Boivin projects to be a middle-of-the-order impact bat with projectable physicality. With some sneaky athleticism, the backstop will look to impress this weekend while representing Team Wisconsin.
Boivin went 2-for 4 with a walk and two doubles in Monday’s semi-final game. Sees both fastball and breaking ball well as he was able to slap two doubles to left field that would drive in a few runs. Showed great athleticism and was able to get around the bases pretty quickly. Very strong on the defensive side of the ball as well, was able to make several run-saving blocks in the semi-finals and the finals, not to mention, he showed a lot of potential in his arm behind the plate.
Boivin showed pop on Saturday morning sending a deep fly over the centerfield wall, driving in two. Boivin was also impressive behind the plate for Hitters Navy with quality receiving and blocking.

Hit: RHH. Starts in a balanced stance with low hands and a short leg lift trigger. Hands draw back into smooth load, weight transfers well. Handsy path, quick hands, ball jumps, hard line drive back spin contact through both gaps, hits rockets.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 74.7 mph. 229' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-69 mph. OF-78 mph. C: Quick clean transfer, short right foot, quick down to block, deadens ball, quick and accurate. OF: One hand gather, aggressive, crow hop through the ball with good direction to home.
Defense: 2.35-2.66 pop times.
ATH: 7.24 runner in the 60. 1.76 and 4.04 in the 10 and 30 yard splits.
Boivin is a large framed, projectible backstop for this Hitters Navy squad and has shown well during the 13U PBR at The Rock Summer Championships. Defensively, Boivin folds well behind the plate and is able to consistently catch and frame pitches despite the young age. When he is at the plate, his large frame may project even more as he has the chance to hit for power as his body develops. In Hitters Navy’s two games of the day Boivin tallied three doubles and finished with a combined five RBIs.
