Kline put together a solid overall day at our Top Prospect-Milwaukee event. The RHH is an above average athlete behind the plate at 6-foot-1,194-pounds. He started his day with a 6.91 in the 60, best of any catcher in attendance, and continued his showing in BP where he has a confident presence in the box and loose above average bat speed to drive the ball hard all over the field. ITs a middle of the field approach that topped at 96 mph exit velocity and translated in game where he drilled a ball to center-field that was ultimately caught

Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 6-0, 174-pounds. Strength in athletic build.
Hit: RH. Pre-pitch rhythm from tall start, pigeon-toed front foot; bat waggle. Crouches and coils into load back, leg hangs in load, triggers to sync up contact. Above-average bat speed off an athletic, uphill plane.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity from the tee. Creates hard-hit lofted contact well; hit three balls over 320 feet in live BP, including a 343-foot ball at 93.3 mph.
Arm: RH. C - 72 mph. OF - 76 mph. Short, compact arm action from an over-the-top slot from both the outfield and catcher.
Defense: 2.22-2.50 pop times. Flexible receiver with above-average actions; quick exchanges as he fluidly erupts from crouch. Footwork is more deliberate and methodical in the outfield.
Run: 6.99 runner in the 60. Above-average footspeed.

Showed his defensive prowess behind the plate for STiKS Black this afternoon. He blocked numerous dirt balls with fast feet and a quick block and recover technique not letting a single ball get to the back stop. He also clubbed a no doubt three-run HR over the left field wall late in the game to put his team ahead for good.

Positional Profile: C
Body: 6-foot-0, 160-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Balanced and athletic setup, hands load back, toe tap stride, maintains balance throughout. Fast bat speed, short and level path to the baseball, gap-to-gap approach at the plate, solid hand/eye skills.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee.
Arm: RH. C - 65 mph. Short arm action from over-the-top slot.
Defense: 2.37-2.59 pop times. Soft hands, clean exchanges, plays through the baseball, an athletic receiver.
Run: 7.04 runner in the 60.

5-foot-11, 155-pound, athletically-built right-handed hitting catcher. Offensively, open, athletic setup, leg kick timing-trigger, maintains good balance. Calm, advanced approach at the plate, consistent line drive contact, short barrel path, level at-times, fluid rhythm, 77 mph exit velocity. Ran a 6.98 laser-timed 60. Defensively, short arm action, over-the-top slot, 66 mph out of the crouch, pop times ranged 2.40-2.50.

5-foot-10, 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher. Still raw with some present quick twitch athleticism. Offensively hits from a crouched, slightly open setup with a leg lift stride and average balance. Stiff rhythm with a fast bat and uphill swing path. 75 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.45. Defensively has a long arm action from an over the top slot. Throws worked uphill. Popped 2.47-2.68 and threw 65 mph out of the crouch.
