Robertson would get the start in the nightcap Saturday and would show some intriguing arm talent as the fastball would sit 81-84 with life and arm-side run. Across four innings of work, the St. Thomas More product would strike out six while only allowing one run. An athletic 5-foot-9, 145-pounds, Robertson moved well on the mound with clean mechanics and explosive actions. Coming from a 3/4 arm slot, he also showed a quick, lively arm, offering even more promise to his developing profile. Should be a name to follow in Wisconsin’s 2027 class as he continues to develop in all facets of his game.

The freshman sat 79-81 mph, hitting 81.5 mph with his fastball and setting up a curveball at 65-68 mph. He also went to a true cutter, playing with short lateral bite at 70-74 mph to give a different look. OF/LHP Mason Robertson (Martin Luther, 2027) is a lanky, athletic 5-foot-8, 140-pound player, who was floating around the outfield confidently with athleticism. The left/left prospect sprays line-drives around the diamond with loose hands/wrists that create bat speed. Roberston took a smooth round of BP and defense where his tools were on display. The twitchy two-way will look to impress this week at the biggest event of the summer at LakePoint this week.
