Positional Profile: RHP Attacks zone with three-pitch with fastball-slider curveball combo. Lands square, in control.
Body: 6-foot-2, 215-pounds. Large frame and build, sturdy lower half.
Delivery: Tall-and-fall type, easy effort, repeats well,
Arm Action: RH. Long and loose arm action, clean and compact arm circle, high 3/4 release.
FB: T86, 85-86 mph. Sinking actions, heavy at times, feel for the pitch with control to both sides of the plate.
SL: 75-78 mph. Tight spin, thrown at arm speed, lateral movement.
CH: 78-80 mph. Matches heavy action on fastball, thrown at arm speed.

6-foot-2, 215-pound right handed pitcher. Drop and drive delivery that he easily repeats, showcased long and loose arm action from a high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 84-85 mph early on, touching 86 mph. Sharp breaking ball at 75-76 mph with 11/5 shape and occasional slurve type action. Changeup sat 78-79 mph with sink and slight run, used as a strikeout pitch a small handful of times. Showed feel for all three of his pitches. Consistently worked ahead in the count, finished with a first pitch strike percentage of 70.3% and a total strike percentage of 81.2%. Went the distance, finished 7 IP, 5 H, 10 K, 0 BBs.

Body: 6-foot-2, 215-pounds. Sturdy build.
Delivery: Tall and fall type, regular effort, delivery repeats and in rhythm, works with conviction.
Arm Action: RH. Long loose arm action, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T85, 84-85 mph. Heavy feel with sinking action, above average control.
CB: 73-74 mph. 11/5 shape, slurve type action.
CH: 77-80 mph. Near fastball arm action, runs to arm side, flashed plus at times, feel for the strike zone.

8/9/18 - 6-foot-2, 225-pound, right-handed hitting first baseman, thick, strong build. At the plate, balanced setup, top wrap load, short stride. Long, uphill bat path, pull side tendencies, loose hands  generate bat speed, exit velocity topped 91 mph from a tee. Defensively, steady hands, clean exchange, short arm action high ¾ slot, throws topped 77 mph across the diamond. 7.61 runner in the 60. On the mound, tall till slight sit on back side, works in-line, square landing, head jerks, athletic finish. Short arm action, high ¾ slot, some effort and rhythm involved. Fastball, ran down in the zone, 81-83 mph, topped 85 mph. Curveball, 11/5 gradual break, 72 mph. Worked a 1-2-3 inning in one inning.

7/29/18 - Cairo is 6-foot-2 225-pounds. Arm plays from a high ¾ slot, squared landing. Fastball has slight arm side run, occasionally sinks and plays heavy, 82-83 mph. Curveball worked 70-71 mph, slurve sweeping action.1.27.18 - 6-foot-2, 217-pound two-way player, strong build for age. On the mound works from an over the top slot, regular effort, shows arm speed and looks to work downhill. Fastball feels heavy, control of the zone, topped at 83 mph, sat 80-82 mph. Curveball has 11/5 shape, sharp action, thrown with feel and confidence, 66-68 mph. Changeup fades to arm side, 73-75 mph, thrown with arm speed. Right-handed hitter, open setup, slight leg kick, average balance. Pull side power approach, uphill path, some topspin contact. 87 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively played through the baseball at times with clean transfer. Arm is short and loose, 73 mph across. 4.62 runner home to first.

3/12/17 - 6-foot-1, 180-pound two-way player. Right-handed hitter, tall setup with slightly open stance, early leg kick trigger. Gets into lower half, hits off back side on uphill plane, 76 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm action is short high ¾ slot, 63 mph across the diamond. Showed playable actions around the bag at first. 7.86 runner in the 60. On the mound fastball topped at 78 mph, sat 74-75 mph. Knuckleball at 66-67 mph. Changeup showed feel of the zone, 69-72 mph.
