6/18/16 - Threw out multiple base stealers from behind the plate with a strong and accurate arm. Made hard contact at the plate a showed the ability to hit to all parts of the field. Gonzaga recruit.
a 6-foot Gonzaga recruit, swung it well for GRB. Lund laced slicing line drive to right field for a triple, and also squared a ball to centerfield. 

4/12/16 - Gonzaga commit. 6-foot, 193-pound right-handed hitting catcher with a strong, solid frame. Plays shortstop for Verona, as Rortvedt handles most of the catching duties. At the plate hits from a balanced, slightly open stance with a short leg lift stride. Showed good feel for the barrel and strength thru contact. Went 2-3 with a double and three RBIs on the day.

3/19/16 - Verbally committed to Gonzaga.

3/13/16 - Recently committed to Gonzaga. 6-foot, 193-pound offensive catcher/third baseman, solid build. Right-handed hitter, open stance, excellent balance through contact, slight leg lift stride. Excellent barrel control, high contact type hitter, hard line drive gap to gap type. Showed a fast bat, 95 mph exit velocity from the tee, athletic hitter, high average guy. Defensively posted pop times at 2.01-2.13, showed softer hands, quiet receiver. Arm played accurately, short over the top action, showed carry both out of the crouch and across the diamond, 78 mph (catcher) and 79 mph (infield). Abilities to play both third base and catch at the next level, bat will play. 7.1 runner.

7.20.15 - 6-foot, 183-pound catcher, solid thick build, good catcher’s frame. Right-handed hitter, balanced setup, short stride, uses lower half, maintains strong balance, highly repeatable swing. Shows a knack for finding the barrel, athletic hands, able to adjust. Path stays through the hitting zone, good extension, hits with rhythm, bat plays in game. 84 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively showed well above average catch and throw skills, arm plays short and over the top, typical catcher’s arm action, showed accuracy and carry to second base, 77 mph out of the crouch. Clean exchange, handles the ball well, 2.03-2.15 pop times in workout. High follow 2018 prospect.

3/15/15- 5-foot-11, 175-pound, right-handed hitting C/3B. Behind the plate has a short arm action from an over the top arm slot. Accurate throws with carry. Fluid footwork with a quick clean transfer. Popped 2.03-2.14 and threw 74 mph from the crouch. Profiles as a corner infielder with slower actions. Has a long arm action form a high ¾ arm slot with accuracy. Threw 78 mph across the infield. At the plate hits from an open stance with a short stride and good balance. Short level swing path with extension. Fluid rhythm with a fast bat. Showed present strength thru contact with 91 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.30. High level prospect who will continue to improve with maturity.

4/5/14 - 5-foot-10, 150-pound multi-positional player, solid build with strength. Offensively hits from an open stance, smooth loading action, short stride. Bat path is short with extension, line drive gap to gap type hitter, above average bat speed. 81 mph exit velocity from the tee, advanced hitter. Defensively showed advanced abilities both on the infield and out of the crouch. Arm action is athletic and showed the ability to adapt to the position played, 74 mph out of the crouch, 76 mph across the infield. Out of the crouch stayed low, received the ball well with soft hands, mechanically sound blocking, advanced defensive actions on the infield as well, could physically grow into a strong hitting third base/catcher type. On the mound arm worked from a high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight run, showed the ability for command, 73-75 mph touched 76 mph. Curveball showed excellent action on 12/6 plane, sharp with fastball arm speed, 62-64 mph with knowledge of the zone. Changeup flashed occasional sink, near fastball arm speed, 67-70 mph.
