Harper got the nod for STiKS in the final day of our PBR Badger State Battle, striking seven out across four innings of work. Harper attacked hitters with an 86-88 mph fastball that plays on a steep plane because of how he works on top of the baseball due to his lengthy levers. He also flipped in a few breaking balls in the 73-75 mph range.

Positional Profile: RHP; An upside, uncommitted junior who's taken a step forward.
Body: 6-foot-4, 194-pounds. Lanky, high-waisted build; long, thin levers.
Delivery: Smooth, fluid pace to high knee tuck and coil at balance point; drives down mound with reach at separation, high front side. Works on line, lands square to home, toe to target; finishes athletically. Gaining greater extension down the mound as compared to last summer.
Arm Action: RH. Fluid, clean, efficient arm action helps him repeat well; arm action is stable, in proper place at foot plant. High 3/4 slot, loose and quick.
FB: T90, 88-89 mph. Uptick in velocity has also increased his spin rate; larger extension and lower release height has contributed to the pitch's upside. Natural arm-side action; jumps from the hand. T2455, 2383 average rpm.
SL: 74-75 mph. His feel to spin the breaking ball has taken a step forward; flashed sharp action off an 11/5 plane. T2341, 2300 average rpm.
CH: 77-81 mph. Mostly maintains his typical arm speed/slot; slight deceleration, but the pitch projects alongside his fastball. Firm with hard run; feel to locate down in and around the zone. T1687, 1628 average rpm.

6-foot-4, 180 pounds; high projection right-hander with thin frame, high waist, long levers. A couple of strong performances this summer already have his arrow pointed straight up. Long, loose, clean arm action from a ¾ slot, low effort; fastball sat 83-85 on Saturday, mostly stayed that way throughout his start. Fills up the zone with the fastball while mixing in a 10/4 curveball from the same slot with above-average action, depth. He’s shown us an effective changeup in the past, too, thrown at arm speed with run/fade. The frame and present stuff have him trending up as an uncommitted righty to know in the state’s ‘22 class.

Positional Profile: RHP; Started the summer strong with this performance and eventually earned a Team Wisconsin invitation.
Body: 6-4, 165-pounds. Long projectable frame.
Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, well balanced and directional, low effort.
Arm Action: RH. Long loose arm action, creates whip out front, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T85, 83-84 mph. Slight arm side run, showed feel for the strike zone.
SL: 72-73 mph. Showed lateral action, 10/4 shape, average spin over 2,000 rpm.

Positional Profile: RHP. Soon to be ranked inside the state's 2022 class; a follow right-hander.
Body: 6-foot-4, 165-pounds. Gangly, spindly frame with long levers, high waist; upside projection.
Delivery: Simple rock to balance point, hip turn with closed shoulders, high front side, leg swings out to soft, square landing. Easy effort involved, athletic finish squared to home.
Arm Action: RH. Long draw and arm swing, loose and clean to high 3/4 release, quick out front.
FB: T84, 83-84 mph. Generates steady arm-side run, downward angle.
SL: 67-72 mph. 11/5 shape with some sweeping action, occasionally sharp and more vertical shape.
CH: 72-74 mph. Best offspeed right now; mostly maintains arm speed, feel for strikes, with consistent fade/run.

Positional Profile: RHP
Body: 6-foot-3, 165-pounds. Long lean projectable frame.
Delivery: Balanced delivery, works on line, stays tall and falls to target, lands square with closed front side.
Arm Action: RH. Long arm path gets extension, high 3/4 slot.
FB: T82, 78-81 mph. Showed slight run and sink action.
CB: 68-71 mph. 11/5 shape.

Presents a projectable lanky frame with long loose arm action, high 3/4 arm slot, in line direction, level shoulders, square landing, drop and drive type. Pitching arsenal consists of a fastball, curveball, and a changeup. Fastball sat 79-81 mph, topping out at 82 mph. Fastball shows life playing harder than what the radar gun says, consistently getting late swings on the pitch. 74 mph on his changeup which showed sinking movement, and a curveball at 64 mph with 11/5 shape.

Positional Profile: RHP/3B

Arm Action: RH. Long arm swing and action, high ¾ slot. Loose and quick arm.
FB: T81, 79-80 mph. Straight with some downhill tilt; extension to release adds deception.
