California Uncommitted 2018 Pitchers

PBR California Staff

With the season well underway across the state our scouts have been out to see many games over the course of the last month. Most of the time we select games to see players that we've known about to check in on their progress. Sometimes we are tipped off by a coach about an uncommitted player that are rising in the coaches eyes.

In this article we take a closer look at 10 uncommitted 2018 pitchers from across California that our team of scouts feel are worthy of recognition based on their efforts so far this season.

Players can now updated their profiles with a ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on the ScoutPlus dashboard.

Let's take a closer look at the uncommitted senior pitchers. Subscribers can access video of these pitchers in their profiles.

Dylan Ramirez LHP / OF / Huntington Beach, CA / 2019

5-foot-8, 150-pound, lean frame. In a recent outing, the lefty went pitch for pitch Vs. Cole Winn (Orange Lutheran, CA) facing 18 hitters, turning in a stellar performance. Ramirez is a control pitcher that had command of all 3 pitches. He beat OLu with 2 pitches, his FB sitting at 83 mph, which he ticked up for a couple punch outs when he needed them, and a snappy CB sitting at 72 mph. Ramirez had the Lancers off balance all night with an impressive 5 inning, 1 hit, 7 strikeout night.
