OTHERS TO WATCH: RHP Cooper Stinson (Norcross HS, GA) is a Duke signee with an extra-large frame. He features a heavy fastball at 90-94 mph and flashes a plus slider at 84-87. He was inconsistent this spring with regard to strikes and an out pitch, but could become a monster in three years. OF Christopher Williams (River Ridge HS, GA) has size and power. A Florida International recruit, he can elevate the ball while maintaining a good swing. As he gets stronger, his power could take off. 1B/OF Lawrence Butler (Westlake HS, GA) is a tall, long West Virginia recruit with present power and more to come. C Conner Pavalony (River Ridge HS, GA) is a classic catching prospect with his power and arm strength. The Tennessee recruit has a strong build and his leadership skills standout as well. OF Caberea Weaver (South Gwinnett HS, GA) is athletic and has excellent speed. He is committed to Georgia. SS Kelvin Smith Jr. (Redan HS, GA), a Missouri recruit, has good actions, athleticism and speed. Though not overpowering, LHP Justin Wrobleski (Sequoya HS, GA) has a solid three-pitch mix and projects as a starter. He is committed to Clemson. OF Randon Jernigan (Glynn Academy, GA) is one of the best athletes in the class. The Georgia recruit has an impact run tool. SS Ryan Bliss (Troup County HS, GA) is undersized, but is a good athlete, plays with energy and has a line drive path with sneaky pull-side pop. His quickness and speed play in the field and he has the actions to stay in the infield. He is committed to Auburn. C Jack Haney (Cedartown HS, GA) is a Chipola JC recruit with a strong, mature build and solid catch-and-throw skills. He is hitterish in the box with good presence and actions.
