The Central Illinois Open took place on August 16th at the Corn Crib in Normal, IL. Following the event the PBR scouting staff compiled all of the notes from the workout and over the next week we will break down the event position by position.
Today we rollout the pitching analysis from the event. Leading the list of pitchers is LHP Jonah Smith, a 6-foot-2 junior from Mt. Zion HS who showed off a quick arm and a fastball in the low 80’s at the event. Smith committed to Illinois State shortly following the event.
