Class of 2019 Showcase: Statistical Analysis

The Class of 2019 Showcase took place on Sunday, October 15 at the MAX in McCook, IL. This event featured over 90 prospects from the Class of 2019, who participated in a pro-style workout in front of the PBR Illinois Scouting Staff. Today, we continue the event anaylsis with a look at the top statistical performers.

The top three runners at the event were not separated by much. Darrius Little (Simeon) set the pace at 6.76 seconds. Right behind him were Beiker Fuentes (Crystal Lake South) at 6.79 and Michael Gattuso (St. Charles North) who ran a 6.82.
There was plenty of mid-to-upper 80 fastballs at the event. Cameron Kissel (Plainfield North) took home the crown, topping out at 89 mph. Just behind Kissel was Teague Conrad (Conant) who was clocked at 88 mph. Ryan Singsank (Elk Grove) was the top lefty, touching 84 mph.
The event saw two guys top the 100 mph mark off of the tee. Ryne Singsank (Elk Grove) registered a 101 mph exit velocity while Cameron Kissel (Plainfield North) was next in line at 100 mph.
Nick Kosmetatos (St. Francis) showed off advanced arm strength across the diamond, clocked at 90 mph. Behind Kosmetatos was
Ethan Burgh (Prospect) and
Beiker Fuentes (Crystal Lake South) who both registered 86 mph.
Beiker Fuentes (Crystal Lake South) and Cameron Kissel (Plainfield North) continue to see their names pop up on the event's leaderboards, this time sharing the top spot in outfield velocity at 93 mph.
Logan Riley (Sycamore) posted the event's top pop time at 2.11 seconds in addition to having the least variance between pop times at .07 seconds.
Zachary Rocke-White (Richwoods) came out of the crouch firing, posting a 79 mph throw down to second. Not far behind were the likes of Alex Bolanowski (Crystal Lake Central) at 76 mph and Logan Riley (Sycamore) at 75 mph.
