No. 1 St. Rita 13, Bishop McNamara 2
Mateo Zunica went 3-for-4 with three RBI and Charlie Rodriguez had three hits and scored two runs for the Mustangs. Dominic Sarra had two hits, two RBI and three runs. Luke Bechina struck out seven in four innings.
No. 2 Mount Carmel 5, DePaul Prep 1
Connor Spear scattered eight hits in the complete-game victory for the Caravan. Alek Thomas had two hits and two runs and Neil Novosel drove in two for Mount Carmel.
No. 3 Jacobs 2, Hampshire 1

No. 4 St. Laurence 3, De La Salle 2
Anthony Robles pitched a two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and one walk and St. Laurence rallied with single runs in the bottom of the sixth and seventh to avoid the upset. Tommy Farrell drew a walk-off walk, bringing home courtesy runner Dave Lox with the winning run.
No. 5 Brother Rice 3, Montini 0
Ryan Hutt pitched a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and one walk for the Crusaders. Jack Guzek had two hits for Brother Rice, including an RBI single in the three-run third.
No. 8 Plainfield North 13, Romeoville 0
Tyler Garrity had three RBI and Josh Garner and Joshua Heckman drove in two runs each in the five-inning victory. Heckman pitched the first four innings for the win.
No. 9 St. Charles North 12, Streamwood 4
Brendan Joyce went 3-for-3 with two RBI and three runs for the North Stars. Tyler Mettetal singled, doubled and had four RBI in the victory.
No. 12 Providence 16, St. Joseph 6
Colin Airola hit a home run and Mike Madej had two hits, two RBI and three runs for Providence. Kevin Fitzgerald and Mike Massaro had two hits apiece for the Celtics.
No. 13 Plainfield South 6, Plainfield East 1
Jordan Mikel pitched a five-hitter and survived six walks to go the distance. He struck out six in the victory. Konnor Ash went 3-for-3 with two RBI for South. Cole Lynch and Drew DeMumbrum had two hits apiece for East.
No. 14 Naperville Central 3, Neuqua Valley 2
Gabe Soria doubled to lead off the seventh and pinch-runner Eric Houlihan scored the winning run on Michael Nerger’s single in the bottom of the seventh as Central took the DuPage Valley Conference series 2-1. Ryan Eiermann hit a home run in the victory. Danny Wagner pitched a complete game for Neuqua.
No. 15 Sandburg 8, Joliet Central 1
Eric Paplerski had three hits and Tim Dobrik pitched five effective innings for Sandburg. Michael Dahlgren doubled and scored two runs. Dobrik allowed a run on four hits.
No. 17 Lincoln-Way North 10, Bradley-Bourbonnais 1
Mitch Hunter pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts and one walk for the Phoenix. Nick Figus went 3-for-4 and Ben Troike and Ryan Anderson drove in two runs apiece.

Warren 4, No. 20 Libertyville 0
Sam Lamotte pitched a two-hitter as Warren completed the two-game North Suburban Lake sweep. Lamotte struck out five and walked one and Michael Rosenberg hit a home run for the Blue Devils. Luke Schmitt and Cal Poremba had two hits apiece in the victory.
No. 24 Mundelein 10, Round Lake 0
Zack Zentz got the win for Mundelein. Reese Dolan and Ryan Fairweather had doubles for the Mustangs.
Homewood-Flossmoor 7, Stagg 1
Bryce Gray and Percy Walters hit home runs for the Vikings. Gray was a triple shy of the cycle. Walters added a double and had three RBI. August Schlaffer allowed two hits in six innings, striking out seven and walking three.
Lockport 7, Joliet West 2
Stephen Hill hit a home run and Michael Stevens allowed two unearned runs on two hits in six innings for Lockport.
Lincoln-Way West 4, Andrew 1
A.J. Ashley hit a two-run homer and Matt Monahan and Ryan Hastings had back-to-doubles in the two-run first for West. Connor Lowman allowed three hits in five innings and Gabe Mantavlo struck out four in earning the save.
Lincoln-Way Central 8, Thornton 0
Ryan McWilliams went 3-for-4 and Tyler Franc allowed one hit in four innings for Central.
Minooka 5, Plainfield Central 0
Tyler Talbot pitched a two-hitter with four strikeouts and no walks and Minooka broke open a close game with four runs in the top of the seventh. Jon Butler, Joe Butler and Logan O’Brien had two hits apiece for Minooka.
Oswego East 6, Oswego 2
Garrett Goetz went 3-for-3 in the victory.
Shepard 6, Bremen 0
Jack Carberry pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts. Rob Marinec drove in three runs.
Oak Lawn 13, Eisenhowerr 3
Nico Uriarte drove in four runs for Oak Lawn.
Stevenson 11, Lake Forest 1
Charlie Ling had three hits and scored three runs as the Patriots completed the two-game sweep to stand alone in first place in the North Suburban Lake. Michael Marchese allowed a run on three hits in five innings for the win.
Lake Zurich 6, Zion-Benton 0
Matt Svanson pitched a one-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks for the Bears. Dylan Niedzwecki went 3-for-3 in the victory.
Barrington 2, Conant 0
Ryan Loutos pitched a two-hitter with nine strikeouts and two walks for the Broncos. Tristan Michaels had a two-run double in the fifth inning.
Prospect 9, Rolling Meadows 4
Ryan Howe went 4-for-4 and Ryan Molini and Trevor Engquist each went 3-for-4 as Prospect pounded out 18 hits.
Maine South 6, Marian Central 0
Tyler Short and Alex Zyniecki combined on a five-hit shutout with seven strikeouts and no walks. Andrew Lynn drove in two runs for the Hawks.
Marmion 13, Fenwick 0
Matt Henkel (3-for-3), Brandon McPherson and Chase Stanke all had two-run singles in the 10-run first inning for Marmion. McPherson pitched a one-hitter with four strikeouts and two walks in the victory.
Niles Notre Dame 11, Latin 0
Ranko Stevanovic had four RBI and Matt Segovia added three for the Dons.
Benet 4, Wheaton Academy 2
Mike Dunn allowed two unearned runs on two hits in five innings and Josh Tumpane went 2-for-3 with three RBI for Benet.
Waubonsie Valley 9, Glenbard North 2
Johnny Johnson allowed three hits in five innings and belted a three-run triple for the Warriors. Luke Gregorio went 2-for-3 with three runs in the victory.
Metea Valley 14, Naperville North 8
Anthony Greco went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, five RBI and four runs scored for Metea. Connor Lovely and Jack Feeley added three hits apiece in the victory. Trey Long restored order with three scoreless innings of relief.
York 9, Wheaton North 3
Frank Romano went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs for the Dukes. Cam Fowler added two hits for York.
Lyons 10, Glenbard West 4
Scott Garrow had a three-run triple and finished with five RBI for the Lions.
Batavia 9, Larkin 1
Luke Beckmann and Tyler Kledzik drove in three runs apiece for the Bulldogs. Alex Kielion allowed an unearned run on six hits in the complete-game victory.
St. Charles East 5, Geneva 1
Niko Klebosits pitched a four-hitter with three strikeouts and one walk. Austin Gift and Kyle Tiltges had two hits apiece for the Saints.
Dunlap 7, East Peoria 1
Charlie Mangieri pitched four-hit ball in six innings and Reid Jockisch had a two-run single in the four-run first for Dunlap.
Sacred Heart-Griffin 13, Decatur Eisenhower 2
Cal Elvers hit a home run and Devin Thomas and Tommy Drake had two RBI apiece for Sacred Heart-Griffin.
Rochester 3, Decatur MacArthur 0
Parker Flynn, Logan Kain and Tristan Sutker combined on a three-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk for the Rockets. Tyler Fitzgerald doubled, walked and scored twice in the victory.
Normal Community 6, Normal Universtiy 2
Addison Fugit went 3-for-4 and scored two runs for the Ironmen. Jake McCaw tripled and reached base four times. Mike Shepard allowed two runs on six hits in five innings for the win.
Breese Central 2, Columbia 0
Dylan Wilson scattered eight hits and three walks to complete the shutout.
Lane 3, Northside Prep 2
Logan Williams pitched five innings of no-hit ball, striking out nine and walking one, and Lane survived Northside Prep’s two-run rally in the top of the seventh. Williams also tripled and scored on Marco Perez’s RBI single in Lane’s two-run second.
Young 2, SImeon 0
Roberto Vargas pitched a three-hitter with seven strikeouts and two walks for the Dolphins. Matt Shuman had two hits for Young.
Morgan Park 6, Kenwood 1
Michigan recruit Christian Bullock pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts and four walks for Morgan Park.
Wauconda 6, Lakes 1
Jake Grobelny struck out nine while scattering six hits in the complete-game victory and his teammates Wauconda made the most of its five hits.
Prairie Ridge 6, Cary-Grove 1
Jon Tiemann pitched a five-hitter with seven strikeouts and one walk for the Wolves.
Dundee-Crown 10, Grayslake North 9
Ryan Denz doubled in the bottom of the eighth and scored the winning run on a passed ball. Denz was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded as Dundee-Crown scored four in the seventh to force extra innings.
McHenry 7, Woodstock 1
Nick Lahrmann struck out seven in six innings of four-hit ball and went 2-for-3 with four RBI.
Bartlett 9, Maine West 3
Mike Prang and Scott Reudel had three hits apiece for Bartlett.
Aurora Central Catholic 7, Iliana Christian 5
John Cosgrove and Austin Berens combined on three scoreless innings of relief and ACC took the lead for good when Ryan Poplowski was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth.
Tri-Valley 4, Fieldcrest 1
Kyle Scott pitched a complete game and broke a scoreless tie with a two-out RBI double in the fifth.
Morton 12, Proviso East 6
Sal Rodriguez tripled, singled, drove in two and struck out five in three inning on the mound for Morton.
Salem 10, Fairfield 0
Adam Bunnell pitched a no-hitter with five strikeouts and one walk and Riley Martin homered in the five-inning victory.
