Ryan Hampe drove in three and Angel Sandoval pitched five solid innings as St. Laurence captured third place at the Chris Moon Cherry Field Classic in Tucson, AZ.

Lane Koenig hit a walk-off three-run homer to complete the Flaming Hearts’ five-run rally in the bottom of the seventh. Michael Woltman and an RBI double and Brett Koester a run-scoring single earlier in the inning. Jake Finn had a two-run double for Altamont.
Breese Central 5, Staunton 0
Carter Truong doubled, tripled and had two RBI and Jack Strieker allowed five hits in six scoreless innings for Breese Central.
Glenbard North 10, Hampshire 7
Alex Taylor had two hits and Anthony Sottile drove in two runs for the Panthers.Tyler Maglaya doubled twice and had two RBI for Hampshire.
Bloomington 7, Lincoln 3
Ben Niebur allowed five hits while striking out nine in the victory. Jack Henderson drove in three runs and C.J. Falls plated two for Bloomington.
Cobden 11, Carrier Mills 1
Theron Sweitzer went 4-for-4 and J.T. Moore and Dylan Duty had three hits apiece for the Appleknockers.
Freeburg 12, Murphysboro 0
Joe Wolf pitched a no-hitter with three walks and two strikeouts in the five-inning victory. Landon Touchette and Keegan Baxmeyer had three hits apiece.
Libertyville 11, Widefield 0
Ben Kimpler went 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs for Libertyville.

John Carpinelli and Leo Rule each went 3-for-4 for the Bison.

Brendon Reifsteck powered the Foxes’ attack with three RBI.

Tyler Krause hit a three-run homer and Ian McCormick went 3-for-4 with two RBI for the Griffins.

Jack Villa, Ben Ficht and Mike Hall had two hits apiece for DGS.
Plainfield Central 14, Rockridge 1
Zach Krueger doubled twice and pitched three perfect innings for Central.
