Kevin McCormick, DH, St. Laurence, 2021
Uncommitted sophomore, ranked No. 59 in Illinois. 6-foot-1, 175-pound, left-handed hitting infielder, athletic build. DH’d for St. Laurence and batted seventh in the line-up. Tall, slightly open setup and fluid rhythm. Repeatable swing, minimal effort, controls the barrel and made a lot of hard contact. Uses the entire field, stays inside the baseball. Finished 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI. All three of his hits were driven to the opposite field. Follow 2021 left-handed hitter.

Matt McCormick, C, St Laurence, 2019
West Virginia commit, currently ranked No. 5 in Illinois’ 2019 class. 6-foot, 205 pound, strong, durable catcher. Offensively, calm, relaxed setup, advanced approach, consistently finds the barrel and made hard contact to all fields. Electric bat speed, lets the ball get deep and hits it where it’s thrown. Advanced power for age, natural lift in swing, ball jumps off the bat and ability to backspin the baseball with ease. Finished 1-for-3 with a two-run home run to center field. Defensively, stuck pitches in the zone, playable receiving ability.

Christopher Seropian, LHP, St. Laurence, 2020
Uncommitted, currently ranked No. 83 in the 2020 Illinois rankings. 6-foot, 165-pound, athletically-built, left-handed pitcher. Started on the mound for St. Laurence. Worked quick and efficiently in his three inning start. Quick side step delivery, works smooth and repeatable. Arm works loose and quick from an over-the-top slot; projects for more velocity as he matures. Fastball is live, velocity plays up, showed command, generated weak contact, sat 77-80 mph, touched 81 mph a few times. Curveball has 1/7 shape, down in the zone, used it to put hitters away, feel, 62-66 mph. Slider tight break, thrown from same arm action and window as fastball, only went to it a few times, 72-73 mph. Kept hitters off balance all game, knows how to pitch. Final line: 3 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 5K. Follow 2020 left-handed pitcher.
