Several more 2014 prospects have named their schools recently. A look at who’s going where:

+ Richard Fordon, a 6-foot-3, 215-pound LHP from Mount Carmel HS, has committed to Northwestern. Fordon, who’s ranked No. 45 in Illinois’ 2014 class and 223 overall, showed extremely well at the PBR Top Prospect Showcase in June, showcasing an 84-87 mph fastball to go along with a 75-77 changeup and 74-76 curveball.

+ David Calderon, a 6-foot, 160-pound RHP from Marian Catholic HS, has committed to Morehead State. Calderon, who’s ranked No. 103 in Illinois’ 2014 class, sat 85-87 at the PBR Preseason All-State Showcase in February.

+ Rylan Bannon, a 5-foot-10, 150-pound middle infielder from Joliet Catholic Academy HS, has committed to Xavier University. Bannon, who helped JCA win the Class 3A state championship last spring, is currently ranked No. 155 in Illinois’ 2015 class.
