More 2014 ranked prospects have named their schools recently:
+ Ian Kristan, a left-handed hitting catcher from Carmel HS, has committed to Bradley. Since the spring, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound Kristan has been one of the class’s biggest risers. Kristan especially impressed at the PBR Illinois Top Prospect Showcase in June when he was arguably the best hitter at the entire event, showing left-handed power potential to both alleys. Kristan is currently ranked No. 62 in Illinois’ 2014 class.
+ Lewis University landed a pair of prospects when it received commitments from RHP Michael Enriquez (Brother Rice HS) and INF Sam Cybulski (Lyons Township HS). Enriquez is a physically imposing 6-foot-3, 235-pound right-hander who showed well at the PBR Top Prospect Showcase in June. Enriquez sat 85-87 from a ¾ slot at the Top Prospect Showcase. Enriquez is currently ranked No. 114 in Illinois’ 2014 class.
Cybulski is an athletic 6-foot-3, 175-pound infielder who ran a 6.94 60 at a past PBR event. Cybulski, who’s currently ranked No. 142 in Illinois’ 2014 class, is a versatile performer who served as LT’s starting second baseman as a junior.
+ Alec Altmyer, a RHP from Champaign Central HS, has committed to Illinois State. The 6-foot-2 Altmyer, who’s currently ranked No. 89 in Illinois’ 2014 class, features an upper-80s fastball.
