The Metro East Open took place on Tuesday, June 25 at GCS Stadium in Sauget, Illinois. The event featured players from the 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 classes.
The event Quick Hits have already been released, which cover our initial impressions on some of the top performers. Below, the statistical analysis will break down the top numbers from each statistical category recorded at the event.
RHP Carter Sabol took home the events best fastball, sitting 83-85 and topping out at 87. RHP Evan Herpstreith, another Nokomis product, was not far behind, topping out at 85 MPH.
