The February 16 Preseason All-State Showcase was one of the deepest collections of talent we’ve seen. Nearly every player in attendance brought some tool to the table that can play at the next level, truly an impressive group of prospects.
Of the 47 pitchers who threw bullpens at the Preseason All-State, 45 of them were 80 mph or better. 20 pitchers were 85 mph or better and two, Mack Rosman (Fremd, 2015) and Cal Coughlin (Carmel, 2016), surpassed the 90 mph mark.
20 prospects also ran a sub 7.0 in the 60-yard dash including Jimmy Landgraf’s event best 6.58 in the 60.
