Zach Kaloustian, LHP, Lyons, 2016
Elmhurst College

Zach Kaloustian8.7.15 - 6-foot 3, 200-pound, left-handed pitcher. Works from an over the top arm angle, tall at balance point, stays in line with some rhythm in delivery. Fastball sat 75-77 mph, touching 78 mph. Curveball was 67-68 mph. Threw two innings, allowing no runs, one hit and two strikeouts.

 

Ryan Hartmann, RHP, Andrew, 2016
Illinois College

Ryan Hartmann6/18/15 - 6-foot, 170-pound, right-handed pitcher. On the mound works from a from a ¾ arm angle with a long arm action and stab in back. Online balanced delivery with good tempo from the wind up. Slightly closed landing. From the stretch uses a slide step, occasionally rushing not allowing arm to get on top and missing up. Fastball sat 82-85 mph. Curveball showed 11-5 shape at 73-76 mph. Changeup sat 77-79 mph.

Nick Kirk, 2B, Cary-Grove, 2016
Augustana College

Nick Kirk8.7.15 - 5-foot-11, 155-pound infielder, average lean frame. Defensively showed playable actions on the infield, played through the baseball with a clean exchange. Arm action is short, high ¾ slot, average arm strength, 81 mph across the diamond. Also, threw 82 mph from the outfield. Offensively hits from the right side, open setup, leg-lift trigger, good balance throughout contact. Loose hands, path is level, stays compact at times, 86 mph exit velocity from the tee.

Jake Nipperus, 3B, Hinsdale South, 2016
North Park

Jake Nipperus10.11.15 - Very projectable frame 6-foot-4, 185-pound long and lanky right-handed hitting infielder. Offensively, registered an 89 mph exit velocity. Tall, open stance, pre-pitch load, long stride and above average balance through contact. Level bat path through the hitting zone and worked gap-to-gap during his round of batting practice. Defensively, long arm action, ¾ slot, some accuracy and clocked at 73 mph across the diamond. Also, ran a 7.33 60.

Tommy Washington, SS, Harlan, 2017
Northern Illinois

Tommy Washington10.18.15 - 5-foot-10, 165-pound solid build right-handed hitting infielder. Stood out defensively on the infield. Athletic actions and plus footwork at shortstop. Fluid movements, good body control, soft hands, clean and quick arm action. Quick, clean transfer, accurate throws with carry and clocked at 81 mph. Flashed confident, sure hands on a short hop to his glove side. Offensively, short, uphill bat path through the hitting zone and the ability to create lift. Fluid rhythm through contact, fast bat at times and gap-to-gap approach. Athletic, open setup, smooth pre-pitch load and short leg-lift trigger. Recorded an exit velocity of 75 mph. Also, ran a 7.39 60.

Percy Walters, 3B, Homewood-Flossmoor, 2016
Morehouse College

Percy Walters6.18.15 - 6-foot, 180-pound multi-positional player, athletic shape. Hits from a balanced setup with a slightly open stance. Loose athletic swing, shows bat speed, gap to gap type approach, shoulder swinger. 82 mph exit velocity from the tee. Defensively arm showed carry both from the outfield and across the infield, 86 mph from the outfield, 82 mph across the infield. Showed better actions on the infield, hands are soft, showed good body control, plays through the baseball well. 7.39 runner in the 60.

Kyle Sailliez, OF, Frankfort, 2016
Kankakee CC

Kyle Sailliez7.8.15 - 5-foot-11, 195-pound, strong, athletic build. Opened some eyes running a 4.26 home to first from the right-side of the plate. Hits from an athletic set up, short stride, average balance. Average bat speed, short, level bat path, 80 mph exit velocity. In the outfield, displayed soft hands, long arm action, and over-the-top arm slot. Clocked at 84 mph from the outfield. Defensively, on the infield, showed a long exchange and registered 76 mph across the infield.

Jake Huber, SS, Lockport, 2016
Augustana

Jake Huber6/18/15 - 5-foot-11, 165-pound, average build, right-handed hitter. Hits from a narrow, open set up, loads back, short stride, above-average balance. Above-average bat speed, short, level bat path, 86 mph exit velocity. Defensively showed soft hands, quick exchange, athletic fielding position. Short arm action, ¾ arm slot, some accuracy, 84 mph across the infield. Ran a 7.27 60-time.


Drake Berman, LHP, Wauconda, 2016
Benedictine

Drake Berman10.11.15 - Lean athletic shape, 6-foot-1, 164-pound left-handed pitcher. Clean repeatable delivery, ability to pound the zone. Long loose arm action, high ¾ slot. Fastball has slight arm side run, 79-81 mph, controlled the zone. Curveball has feel, 1/7 shape, dropped for strikes, 70-72 mph. Changeup has slight sink and controlled the zone, 72-73 mph. Good feel for the strike zone with three pitches.

Mike Stevens, RHP, Lockport, 2016
Blackhawk College

Michael Stevens10.11.15 - Long projectable pitchers frame, upside body, 6-foot-6, 190-pound right-handed pitcher. Delivery has rhythm, high leg lift, slightly across his body, showed ability to repeat well for his size, closed front side. High ¾ arm slot, arm is loose out front, easy release comes out of hand well, projectable arm. Fastball has good tilt, works downhill, 80-83 mph, touched 84 mph. Curveball flashed occasional 12/6 action, flat at times, thrown with arm speed, 73-75 mph. Changeup works well, fading arm side action, 72-74 mph, deceptive. High follow uncommitted senior, like his upside.

Zaccary Bianucci, LHP, Naperville Central, 2016
Michigan State

Zaccary Bianucci8/18/13 - 6-foot-2, 170-pound quality body pitcher. On the mound he throws from a ¾ slot with a rigid arm and regular effort. His fastball was 72-73 mph with occasional run. His curveball sat at 63 mph. The changeup was straight and 68-70 mph.


 

Jacob Goldberg, OF, Woodstock North, 2016
McHenry County College

Jacob Goldberg10.11.15 - 6-foot, 190-pound, right-handed hitting outfielder. Defensively has a long arm action form an over the top arm slot with online actions. Throws showed carry with some effort at 87 mph from the outfield. Offensively hits from a balanced, slightly open stance. Short toe tap stride. Sits on the backside with good balance and a short, flat bat path. 81 mph exit velocity from a tee. Ran the 60 at 7.28.

Matt O'Sullivan, LHP, Kaneland, 2016
UW-Whitewater

7.23.14 - 6-foot-2, 155-pound lanky and athletic left-handed pitcher works from a tall-and-fall delivery with a short, high ¾ arm action.  Utilizes a simple up, down, and out delivery, with very little load over the rubber, shoulders stay level throughout delivery, and stride direction stays in line with home plate.  Fastball sat 73-75 mph and was thrown for strikes.  Slowed arm on 56-58 mph curveball with 12/6 shape.  Also threw strikes with 62-63 mph changeup that he pushes at times.  Impressed with his strike throwing ability and three pitch feel.
