Southern Wisconsin Open: Top Overall Prospects

By Wisconsin Scouting Staff

On Oct. 21, at STiKS Academy in Waukesha, Wis., the PBR Wisconsin team held its final showcase of 2018, the Southern Wisconsin Open. Around 60 prospects in the area made it out to the event, primarily representing the 2020 and 2021 classes. The showcase gave the area’s prospects a platform to perform in front of our staff one last time before heading into the offseason.

Today concludes our event analysis. We’ve ranked the top-10 prospects from both the 2020 and 2021 classes and the top-five prospects representing the 2022 class.

This event produced a number of high-follow players that directly placed themselves onto the prospects map. The representing class of 2021, in particular, had a standout day at the STiKS-hosted showcase, featuring a number of intriguing two-way talents as well as a pair of next-level bats at the top.

We previously published the Statistical Analysis from the event, which you can find here, in addition our breakdowns of the catchersinfieldersoutfielders, and pitchers in attendance from earlier this week. Continue on below for the class-by-class rankings.
