Brecht significantly raised his stock at the ProCase last June, showing that he had made significant strides since the winter. He’s highly athletic, standing at a long, skinny 6-foot-8, 205 pounds. His delivery is loose and easy, and he repeats it well for having long levers. He consistently throws strikes, sitting 87-90 and touching 91. His secondary stuff still needs some development, but he has shown improvement there as well. His curveball ranges from 65-68 with varying shape and he flashes some with 12/6 action. He also mixes in a low-80s changeup.
