Stadler is a rare specimen—a 6-foot-8 righty that doubles as a varsity quarterback. Most pitchers with long levers struggle to repeat their deliveries early in their careers, but Stadler is a good athlete and maintains a simple, clean delivery. After sitting mostly in the mid 80s in the spring, Stadler showed an 86-89 mph fastball, touching 91, at the Area Code Games. He pitches from a high-3/4 slot and has quick feet. His curveball sits 75-78.
