Jenkins has made significant in the last year and a half. Once pitching in the low 80s, he now sits in the high 80s and flashes a 90-92 mph fastball at the Top Prospect Games in June. At 6-foot-8, 235 pounds, Jenkins has a big, long frame and like most pitchers of his stature, can struggle with his command at times. However, his mechanics are relatively clean and repeatable. His curveball sits in the low 70s with 11/5 shape and he has shown feel for a changeup with occasional fade at 79-81.
