Over the last couple weeks we have counted down the 2016 calendar year with a look at the top ten viewed profiles of 2016. After drilling down into our google analytics we have compiled a list of the ten most visited profiles by you the reader in 2016.

No. 8 Grant Leader

RHP Grant Leader (Lyons) checks in as the eighth most viewed profile in 2016. Leader is currently ranked No. 6 in the Illinois Class of 2019 and he represented Illinois at the 2016 Future Games in Indiana. His profile saw consistent clicks throughout the summer.

Scouting Report on Leader

10.9.16 - May only be 5-foot-9, 155-pounds, but the uncommitted sophomore pounded the zone with an 85-87 fastball delivered from a short, quick arm stroke that jumps on hitters.  He also shows feel for a tight slurve at 71-75 that he varied depending on counts.  Leader’s slurve is a legitimate swing-and-miss pitch. His pitching IQ shined during one at bat when he worked both sides of the plate with his fastball and slurve before elevating a fastball for a strikeout.
