Unsigned Senior Showcase Preview: Trevor Ranallo

The Unsigned Senior Showcase is coming January 24th to The Max in McCook, IL. This event will bring several uncommitted seniors from the state of Illinois to workout. As we lead up to the event, now a couple weeks away, we will continue to preview several of the top players scheduled to be in attendance.

Scouting Report: 8.7.15 - Put together, strong 5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. Stood out during game play at the plate. Had three hits in two games, a double and two stolen bases. Offensively, flashed the ability to stay on top and backspin baseballs. Balanced setup, pre-pitch rhythm in hands and a slight, smooth load. Slight leg-lift trigger. Level bat path through the zone, gap-to-gap approach, exit velocity of 81 mph. Defensively, clean exchange, long-arm action, ¾ slot, with some accuracy on throws. Clocked at 73 mph across the infield. Also, ran a 7.53 60 yard dash.
