Today’s Player Spotlight is on unsigned senior Corey Krupske. Krupske is a Class of 2013 product of Lincoln-Way North. Krupske was one of the leading hitters for Lincoln-Way North last season. The left-handed hitting Krupske will look to lead a strong Lincoln-Way North squad this spring.

Krupske is a 5-foot-10, 155-pound outfielder who impresses with athleticism and quick-twitch actions. Krupske shows well defensively, showcasing excellent footwork, taking concise routes to the baseball and getting his momentum behind his throws. He has been clocked at 87 mph from the outfield, showing a strong and accurate arm.  At the plate, the left-hander hits with a wide, balanced setup and takes an economical approach to the baseball, keeping his hands inside well and spraying balls to all fields.  

Krupske’s bat control should prove to be an asset at the next level as this left-handed hitting outfielder should garner plenty of attention this spring.
