2024 ROSTER
This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.
OF Jorge Matos Jr (Chicago Hope Academy, 2025) is an uncommitted member of the rising senior class, who our staff is excited to get another look at after making noticeable strides when we last saw him in February. The outfielder has a lean, athletic 5-foot-9, 150-pound frame, which translates well to various parts of Matos' game. In the box, the right-handed hitter presents a balanced setup with a smooth load and fluid swing. Matos showed considerable progression in the winter, having increased his 60 times, OF velo, and EV by a considerable margin. His continued maturing as a player is something our staff looks forward to evaluating.
LHP Sean McNair (Deerfield, 2026) gave a polished look this winter, with the southpaw showcasing intriguing pitchability. McNair worked exclusively from the stretch, moving well down the mound. He showed clean arm actions, working quickly with an easy 3/4 release. The Deerfield student athlete showed an impressive fastball that hovered in the mid-80s, grouped with a 2/8 sweeping slider and a straight splitter.
Perusing the event roster, we’re set to meet a majority of players who’ve not yet attended a PBR showcase, and we’re eager to add more names to our follow lists.
EVENT CHECK-IN PROCESS
Because of the high number of prospects set to attend Tuesday’s event, it is imperative that you read our showcase itinerary below, which will allow our staff to swiftly and efficiently educate and evaluate the players set to attend.
Additionally, in an effort to continue and develop contactless check-in strategies, upon arrival, players will scan a QR Code with their smart phone camera that will lead them to a Google Form. On that Form, players will enter their name (matching the spelling on their PBR profile) and hit submit. Upon submission, players will be prompted to click a link that will direct them to their jersey color and number, located next to their registered name.
