Prep Baseball Report - Kansas held the Class of 2020 Games at Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas on June 18.

Jake Beckmann OF / RHP / Frontenac , KS / 2020

Beckman is a 6-foot 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2020 class.  He ran a 6.85 60 and a 4.48 home to first.  He has an 85 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, tall and open set up, minimal load, flat bat path, hands control the barrel, simple and repeatable, feel for the barrel.  In the outfield, high three quarters arms lot, aggressive to the ball, plays through the catch with smooth footwork, clean transfer with small shuffle of feet, accurate throws, 81 mph positional velocity.

Cooper Greenwood OF / C / Rock Bridge, MO / 2020

Greenwood is a 5-foot-11 209-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri's 2020 class. He ran a 7.33 60 and a 4.82 home to first. He has an 86 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts with a wide base and rhythm in hands, short stride with slight load in hands, no wasted movements, quick bat speed, level path, balanced, middle to pull side contact with occasional power to pull side.  In the outfield, works behind the ball, plays through the catch with footwork, clean exchange, over the top arm slot, 78 mph positional velocity.

Jon Jenkins OF / 1B / Olathe West, KS / 2020

Jenkins is a 6-foot-1 205-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2020 class.  He ran a 6.94 60 and a 4.82 home to first, his exit velocity was 89 mph.  At the plate, starts slightly open, controlled leg lift, in line stride, level path with range in the zone, good barrel awareness, gap to gap line drive, flashes pull side power.  In the outfield, high three quarters arm slot, gains momentum with footwork after the catch, clean exchange, throws downhill, accurate throws, 82 mph positional velocity.

Brevon Lee OF / SS / Olathe Northwest, KS / 2020

Lee is a 5-foot-9 158-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2020 class.  He ran a 6.71 60 and a 4.45 home to first.  he has an 80 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, wide set up in base, loads with weight shift to back side, short stride, level bat path, middle to pull side line drives during hitting evals.  In the outfield, quick to the ball, high three quarters arm slot, clean transfers with feet gaining momentum after the catch, mostly accurate throws, 81 mph positional velocity.

Joey Morris OF / RHP / Kickapoo , MO / 2020

Morris is a 5-foot-7 143-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Missouri's 2020 class.  He ran a 7.15 60 and a 4.50 home to first.  He has an 81 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced set up, in line stride with minimal load, short and compact swing, level to contact, slight lift in finish,  gap to gap approach with mostly middle of the field contact during hitting evals.  In the outfield, works behind the ball, quick catch and throw, over the top arm slot, long arm circle, fluid footwork on time with transfer, mostly accurate throws, 78 mph positional velocity.

Collin Rabe OF / RHP / Wichita Collegiate , KS / 2020

Rabe is a 6-foot-2 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2020 class.  He ran a 7.26 60 and a 4.87 home to first.  He has an 84 mph exit velocity. At the plate, tall and balanced set up, no load, early in line stride, hands manage the bat with range in the zone, middle of the field approach, stays under control.  In the outfield, smooth actions, works behind the ball and through the catch with momentum, transfer on time with footwork, clean exchange, high three quarters arms lot, accurate throws, 77 mph positional velocity.

Sabastian Ramirez OF / Olathe South , KS / 2020

Ramirez is a 5-foot-11 175-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2020 class.  He ran a 6.98 60 and a 4.93 home to first.  He has an 82 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, balanced set up, in line stride, pre pitch rhythm in hands, works into lower half, level path to extension, middle to pull side contact.  In the outfield, high three quarters arm slot, gains ground with footwork after the catch, clean transfer and throw, mostly accurate throws, 72 mph positional velocity.

Rouse is a 5-foot-9 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2020 class.  He ran a 7.06 60 and a 4.34 home to first.  he has an 88 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, starts slightly open, small leg lift, hands walk away from stride, loose hand with fast bat, slight lift at end of swing, gap to gap line drives with pull side power.  In the outfield, aggressive and quick to the ball, quick catch and throw, footwork creates momentum through the catch, over the top arm slot, 79 mph positional velocity, mostly accurate throws.

John Weedman OF / RHP / Shawnee Mission East, KS / 2020

Weedman is a 5-foot-10 155-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in Kansas' 2020 class.  he ran a 6.80 60 and a 4.39 home to first, he has an 80 mph exit velocity.  At the plate, thin and tall stance, leg lift with slight rotation, quiet hands, accelerates with in line stride, quick bat speed, loose hands, gap to gap line drives.  In the outfield, high three quarters arm slot, quick transfer, athletic footwork to the ball, clean exchange, plays through the ball with momentum from footwork, 82 mph positional velocity.
