HIGH SCHOOL DRAFT 100 PROSPECTS
Jerrion Ealy, OF, Jackson Prep, MS (Mississippi)
Hayden Dunhurst, C, Pearl River Central HS, MS (Mississippi)

OTHERS TO WATCH: RHP Trevor McDonald (George County HS, MS) has a long-limbed and athletic frame at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds. Working from a high-3/4 slot with a loose, clean arm swing, he can run his fastball up to 94 mph while also featuring two breaking balls—a curveball at 76-78 and a slider at 80-83. His teammate, C/RHP Logan Tanner (George County HS, MS) has a strong, stocky frame and is a legitimate two-way prospect, showing a strong arm behind the plate and running his fastball up to 95 on the mound. OF James Beard (Loyd Star HS, MS) is a premium athlete with top-of-the-scale speed, running a 6.29-second 60-yard dash at the Mississippi State Games last summer. RHP Jared Johnson (Smithville HS, MS) has been up to 96 and can maintain 92 or better late into games. SS Kamren James (DeSoto Central HS, MS) is highly projectable at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds and has a gap-to-gap approach. OF John Rhys Plumlee (Oak Grove HS, MS) has high-end strength and speed.
