Shooter's Standouts: Uncommitted 2025 Position Players (NPI)
June 20, 2022
Kicking off the summer in style, at the National Program Invitational at Lakepoint, the class of 2025 was well represented with elite talent from coast-to-coast. Future superstars and class defining talent were littered amongst the country's top travel programs as they all did battled at the pristine Georgia complex. Below, a look at 15 position players from the 15U division that made an impact on Shooter Hunt, PBR's Vice President of Scouting:
Brett Beasley SS / RHP / Atlantic Shores Christian, VA / 2025Playing on a strong Artillery 2025 squad, Beasley stole the show not only for his 5-for-9 performance on the week, but especially for the upside potential that might be coming in the future. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound infielder has a lean, wiry-athletic frame that should carry substantial strength sooner rather than later. A right-handed hitter, the movement patterns are smooth and well-connected at the plate with the hands loading fluidly before gaining momentum through impact. Quick hands provide impressive bat speed with what appears to be an innate ability to cover the plate with a propensity to hammer the back side gap. Beasley moves well on the infield, and is a strong follow as a potential future shortstop at the next level who will likely play any spot on the dirt.
