The College of Southern Nevada had himself a day going 2 for 4 with a homerun to catapult Green Valley to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first, the followed it up with a loud opposite field double to left-centerfield that brought in another run to extend the Gator’s lead. In his two other at-bats, McNelis continued to find barrels, but just missed a pair of additional doubles (or more) with both being tracked down. His game has taken shape during his senior campaign as he has proven himself as a legitimate bat with an approach that keeps him in the big part of the yard to go with his power potential transitioning into the present power that was on display yesterday, while holding down either corner outfield spot with his athleticism and PBR Verified (time) speed.
