The Bishop Gorman Scout Day in completed, we now take a look back at the standouts from yesterday's event. The Scout Day included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took a Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with Pitches Bullpens. This was an exclusive event for players in the Bishop Gorman program to highlight and promote players in their program.

It is no secret the talent Bishop Gorman has within their program with 8 players already headed to play Division 1 baseball with many more expected to do the same in the near future. The Scout Day got started off with 2022 two-sport athlete, Bubba Proctor, posting the event's top Laser Timed 60 at 6.78. Following the 60, we jumped right into batting practice where Nevada's #1 ranked 2021 prospect, Tyler Whitaker, hit a blistering 104 mph Raw Exit Velocity which translated directly to his batting practice session that saw him leave the yard multiple times with easy power to both gaps. Defensively, future UNLV Rebel, Gavin Mez, show that his game behind the plate parallels his offensive abilities as he paired his receiving skills with a 1.90 Pop Time. Athletic sophomore, Aiden Pollock, flashed projectable actions on both sides of the ball while throwing the days Top Outfield Velocity at 83 mph. #4 ranked 2022 and Georgia Tech recruit, Demitri Diamant, had one of the top overall days earning a share of the days Top Infield Velocity with Uncommitted 2021 two-way, Billy Ham, at 86 mph across the diamond. Diamant then went on to showcase his impressive three pitch mix where he ran his fastball up to 91 mph with life. This group is among the favorites to hoist the State Championship trophy this year with high level prospects throughout their programs and now we look at the top statistical performers from yesterday's event.
