Northern Nevada

The NN Player of the Week Honors go to ’20 Rylan Charles (Bishop Manogue). Charles in his first week back from off season surgery was 9 for 14, 2 2Bs, 2 3Bs, 7 R, 11 RBI. He aided the Miners in going 4-0 and winning their division at the All in Pride Classic in Arizona.

Senior, Dylan Husted (RHP) earns the Pitcher of the Week award for Northern Nevada. Husted threw a 5 inning no-hitter, striking out 5 for the Reed Raiders in route to a 12-0 victory over Mission of San Francisco.

Southern Nevada 

The SN Pitcher of the Week honors go to ’20 Ethan O’Neal (RHP).  O’Neal, a Dixie State commit, has been a big part of the Patriots’ success this season.  O’Neal tossed 6.1 innings against perennial power Bishop Gorman, striking out 7 and earned the 4-0 victory. 

A junior, Austin McKenzie from Beatty High School captures the the SN Player of the Week.  The utility man was 9 for 9 with 3 BB, 3 SB, 2 2B, 2 3B, a HR and 7 RBI.  McKenzie has assisted in the getting the Hornets off to a hot start at the 1A level, working their way in to the PBR Nevada Power 25.
