The Sparks Blue Sox Scout Day in completed, we now take a look back at the standouts from yesterday's event. The Scout Day included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took a Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with Pitches Bullpens. This was an exclusive event for players in the Blue Sox program to highlight and promote players in their program.

The Sparks Blue Sox Scout Day is in the books and now look into the breakdown of the day's top statistical performers. 2022 OF/RHP, Kaden Peterson, got the day started off by showcasing his present speed as he posted a Laser Timed 6.86 60 Yard Dash, then followed it up with the Scout Day's Top Outfield Velocity at 80 mph. 2021 middle infielder, Thomas Rogers, found himself at, or near, the top of the almost every applicable stat category with event bests in Raw Exit Velocity at 88 mph as well as Infield Velocity at 86 mph. His fellow senior and Uncommitted C, Gavin Zappe, earned himself the events Top Pop Time with an accurate 2.04 to go with his quality receiving skills. This is a gritty, hard-nosed group that will has player in the prep pipeline that will make this team into a serious contender soon.
