Uncommitted Spotlight: Zane Kelly

We continue our coverage of uncommitted players, spotlighting them to help maximize their exposure and assist them in the recruiting process. Today, we look at 2023 OF/LHP Zane Kelly (Faith Lutheran).

2023 OF/LHP Zane Kelly (Faith Lutheran)-  uncommitted, #1 player in NV for 2023 class, also #1 player at position. Projectable frame with an athletic body. Kelly hits from a balanced athletic stance, using a simple and short stride. Has a short and fast swing with an uphill swing plane. Moves well in the field, short and quick arm action. Showed solid arm strength, getting up to 86 mph from OF. On the mound, Kelly throws from simple and loose delivery. Loose and repeatable arm action, FB up to 85mph, showed avg. spin rate - 2120rpm. Showed feel for CB, 11/5 break. Also flashed a changeup that has potential when down in the zone, 72-74mph. Kelly ran a 7.06 60 yard dash.
