Prep Baseball Nevada: HS Player of the Week (Week 5)

The Prep Baseball Nevada High School Player of the Week highlights the best performance for a Nevada High School player from the previous week. Each week, High School coaches across the State are asked to fill out our questionnaire for Pitcher and Player of the Week, along with our scouting staff attending games and scouring box scores throughout the week. Every Saturday a link will be pushed out on social accounts to the Player/Pitcher of the Week questionnaire with a deadline of Saturday night at 11:59PM, followed by the announcement on Sunday.
Our Week Five 'Player of the Week' goes to '26 SS Landon Pahang (Uncommitted) of Spanish Springs as he filled up the box scores throughout week and came through with a big HR to walk-off Damonte Ranch via the run-rule.

'26 SS LANDON PAHANG, SPANISH SPRINGS (UNCOMMITTED)

The shortstop out of Spanish Springs HS swung the bat at a high-level this past week and showed the ability to drive the ball for extra-bases and was driving in runs and coming around to score at a high-clip. The big moment came against Damonte Ranch as Pahang blasted a walk-off HR, his second of the week, to secure an 11-1 run-rule victory. The 21st-ranked prospect in Nevada's 2026 class went 9-for-16 on the week with two homeruns, two doubles, eight RBI and nine runs scored. Pahang will be a fun watch in the Spanish Springs program for the next several years as he's still just a sophomore.
