Inside the Northeast Procase: 2022 RHP Michael Lombardi (Fox Lane/Tulane Commit)

Michael Lombardi SS / RHP / Fox Lane, NY / 2022

The Tulane commit has found his groove from the bump using his long lean starter frame to produce a repeatable delivery, loose arm-swing and current feel for three pitches. Last preseason the righty touched 90.9 (via trackman) with the fastball, showed off a tight 80-81 mph slider, and an average straight change-up. He does offer a more conventional curveball that sits in the mid to upper 70's, but personally, the slider is tighter and should produce more swing-n-miss potential/weak contact at the next level. We are looking forward to the February 20th Procase and seeing what jumps Lombardi has in store for us.
