Interstate Games Preview: Team East

The first ever Interstate Games will take place at Gutchess Lumber Sports Complex in Cortland, NY this upcoming Saturday, October 1st.

SCHEDULE

10am: 
Check-in
11am: Showcase Workout
* 10-30-60's, Offensive Rotation, Defensive Workout. Visual Edge and Swift EZE Jump mats also will be incorporated. POSITION PLAYERS ONLY. Pitcher Only do not need to attend unless they would like to run the 60 and perform the EZE Jump testing.
2pm: Central vs. Downstate (Green Field) / East vs. West (White Field)
4:30pm: Downstate vs. East (Green Field) / West vs. Central (White Field

Catchers

JJ Hunter C / 3B / Lasalle Institute , NY / 2024

Strong 5-foot-11, 195 lb build. Strong arm behind the plate, ability to handle 3B as well. The hit tool stands out with plus bat speed and a 70% sweet spot rate. Has the ability to drive the ball to the gaps.

 

 

Brendan McLoughlin C / OF / Shaker, NY / 2025

Athletic 5-foot-11, 175 lb frame. Steady defender with a confident glove behind the plate. The swing is short and quick into the zone (22 G rotational acceleration via Blast); line drive results with an 80% sweet spot rate.

 

 

Ethan Starr C / OF / Queensbury, NY / 2023

Lengthy 6-foot-3, 185 lb frame with athleticism. The swing repeats with fluid hands; feel for the barrel yielding 100% sweet spot rate on 85% line drives. quick catch and release abilities behind the dish putting the ball right around the bag. 

 

 


Corner INF


Landen Duprey 1B / C / Peru, NY / 2024

Projectable 6-foot-3, 210 lb frame. Dynamic power potential at the plate with advanced bat speed and rotational acceleration Blast metrics. Already seen Exit Velo up to 100 MPH with more in the tank.

 

 

Alex Enea RHP / 3B / Walter Panas , NY / 2024

5-foot-9, 160 lb 2-way prospect. On the mound features a high spin fastball with plus arm side run while countering with a sweeping breaking ball. At the plate has feel for the barrel with developing extra base hit pop. 

 

 


Middle INF

Brendan Shea SS / 3B / Colonie , NY / 2024

Athletic 5-foot-11, 155 lb frame with plenty of room to add size & strength. Lift and hang stride at the plate, fluid hands with a line drive stroke staying through the middle of the field. Smooth operations in the field; quality footwork and a clean glove with the ability to get the throw off from multiple angles

 

Tyler Martin 2B / OF / Newburgh Free Academy, NY / 2023

Steady defender that can make all the plays at 2B. Plus bat to ball abilities (72 MPH bat speed/ 22 G rotational acceleration/ 79% on Plane per Blast) at the plate with high on base traits. Plattsburgh State Commit

 

 


Outfielders

Jordan Juliano OF / Colonie Central, NY / 2024

Lean 5-foot-11, 155 lb build with athleticism. Short stroke at the plate staying behind the ball well with doubles pop to the pull side. Gets good reads in the outfield playing downhill through the ball routinely. 

 

Dj Clifford RHP / OF / Newburgh Free Academy, NY / 2025

Projectable 6-foot-1, 165 lb frame. 2-way prospect that flashes plus Blast swing metrics at the plate with developing pop. On the mound features a heavy fastball approaching 80 MPH while countering with a splitter coming out of the same release height. 

 

Alix Perras OF / RHP / Beekmantown , NY / 2025

Room to add size and strength into the 6-foot-1, 160 lb frame. Feel for the barrel at the plate getting on plane early and staying through the zone (93% On Plane Efficiency). 

 

 


Pitcher Only

Scott Hanson RHP / 2B / Albany Academy, NY / 2025

Projectable 6-foot-2, 180 lb build. High spin FB with plus movement flashing ride and run through the zone. Sweeping slider with 2300+ spin and up to 17' horizontal. Has feel for a low spin changeup with up to 20' of fade.

 

 

Shea Brown LHP / OF / Stillwater, NY / 2024

Compact, repeatable delivery working downhill. Fastball has life out of the hand with some arm side run. Breaking ball come out of a near same release point with sharp 2-plane break. 

 

 

Tim Bushart LHP / OF / Bethlehem, NY / 2024

Fundamental, upright delivery working everything around the zone. Fastball has life out of the hand (28 Spin score) with arm side run up to 16". Tunnels the off speed out of the fastball release point. Curveball has 1-7 shape with up to 12" horizontal break. Changeup has 8-10 MPH differential with run up to 18".   

 

 

Steven Bronson LHP / 1B / Beekmantown, NY / 2025

Projectable 6-foot, 155 lb frame. Bronson is high waisted and wiry while already possessing  strength and athleticism in his actions on the mound. The delivery repeats with all 3 pitches. The Fastball sat 78-80 MPH with high spin and advanced IVB up to 21", this gives it a swing & miss profile the can have success up in the zone. The Changeup comes out of a near same release point maintaining pace and arm speed in the delivery for deception with a 7 MPH differential off the FB. The CB is developing but flashed some depth at the bottom of the zone (6' vertical drop / 6" horizontal) .
