Scouting Report
Physical: 6-foot-4, 200 pounds; Athletic, long build. 7.22 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with a slight leg-kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 95 MPH via Trackman. Strong, physical approach with power to both gaps.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep step while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Short take back from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 79 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 3B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 78 - 81 MPH; arm side run. SL: 74 MPH; short action. Worked down in the zone with good command to the glove side.

Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 91 MPH via Trackman. Barrel stays on plane efficiently during this swing with tilt to it.
Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side while funneling to the hip before transfer. Long arm swing from a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 71 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup working primarily from the stretch. Belt high leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a moderate stride landing inline with the plate. More ground balls than line drives and fly balls with a peak exit velocity of 87 MPH via Trackman. fluid swing with feel for the barrel.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; walks into ready position while showing active feet. Hands are underneath the body with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 71 MPH.
