PBR OK hosted the third annual OK Summer Open at Central Oklahoma University. Nearly 75 players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff and multiple colleges.

Michael Barham 3B / RHP / Duncan , OK / 2024

 Showcased a large, advanced 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame with present physicality. The right-handed hitter demonstrated a narrow, open stance utilizing a leg-hang with noticeable weight shift into a semi stiff front side. Generated 84 mph bat-exit velocity through a flat barrel path yielding consistent barrel whip. Recorded an 8.20 60-yard dash. The primary third baseman arrived to the ball on time with a soft glove hand. Displayed accurate 78 mph arm-strength across the infield out of a hitchy, high ¾ arm-slot.

Carson Benge 3B / SS / Yukon, OK / 2021

Demonstrated feel for a projectable 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame with fluid actions and lean strength. The left-handed hitter begins from a balanced, open stance utilizing rhythmic hand movement and a leg-kick to initiate his swing. Showcased an easy, fluid swing with present barrel whip through a flat barrel path. Displayed advanced barrel awareness   yielding an impressive 88 mph bat-exit velocity. Recorded a 7.25 60-yard dash. The primary third baseman generated smooth, athletic actions during defensive evaluations with feet that arrived on time consistently. Played low to the ground with easy transfers and accurate 83 mph arm-strength across the diamond from a repeatable, high ¾ arm-slot.  

Brett Fuser 3B / SS / Afton, OK / 2020

 Displayed feel for a solid 5-foot-10, 180-pound frame with athleticism and strength in his current body. The right-handed hitter begins with a wide, even stance utilizing a controlled toe-tap to initiate his swing. Showcased a strong lower half generating barrel whip through a flat barrel path. The righty demonstrated advanced barrel awareness   yielding line drives to both gaps with consistency. Registered a comfortable 88 mph bat-exit velocity with some hand speed and recorded a 7.44 60-yard dash. The primary third baseman showed a low center of gravity while flashing active feet on both sides of the ball. Adequate range and a short, high ¾ arm-slot allowed for accurate 78 mph arm-strength across the infield.

Hunter Green 3B / 1B / Wellston, OK / 2020

 The 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed hitter showcased a long upper body in a large, projectable frame with some strength. The right-handed hitter begins from an even setup with knees pointed inward, utilizing high hands and a leg-lift to initiate his swing. A looping swing through a slightly uphill barrel path yielded backspin to the pull-side on 85 mph bat-exit velocities. Recorded a 7.40 60-yard dash. Showcased choppy momentum with adequate footwork during defensive evaluations. Played low upon arrival to the ball with a soft glove hand yielding accurate 76 mph arm-strength out of a repeatable, ¾ arm-slot.

Landon Lagasse 3B / RHP / Cashion , OK / 2022

Demonstrated advanced feel of a lean, athletic 6-foot, 160-pound frame with room to add strength. The right-handed hitter starts with a balanced, even stance utilizing a leg-kick to initiate his swing. Generated some barrel whip through a flat path yielding a 78 mph bat-exit velocity. Showcased a barrel that picked up speed through the zone with some hand speed at impact. Displayed advanced barrel awareness   while driving the ball to both gaps with consistency. Recorded a 7.00 60-yard dash. Fielded the ball consistently off of his left ear with momentum towards the target. Adequate footwork with feel for a soft glove hand allowed for range to both sides and a consistent rhythm in his arrival to the baseball. Registered an accurate 75 mph arm-strength from his position out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot. 

Mikey Lunsford 3B / RHP / Carl Albert, OK / 2021

 Showcased a large, physical 6-foot-2, 200-pound frame with advanced strength for his age. The right-handed hitter begins from an even setup with knees bent slightly inward utilizing a toe-tap to initiate his swing. Some stretch in the upper half and a strong lower half generated barrel whip through a flat path registering an impressive 90 mph bat-exit velocity. Demonstrated feel for his hands   while hitting into a stiff front side. Recorded a 7.51 60-yard dash. The primary third baseman displayed a low center of gravity arriving on time to the baseball with consistency. Showed average feel for plays on the run, with adequate transfers into a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot. Created momentum towards the target yielding accurate 81 mph arm-strength across the infield.

Jacob Morrow RHP / 3B / Owasso, OK / 2022

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound primary right-handed pitcher featured a large, projectable frame with long actions. The right-handed hitter starts from an even, balanced setup utilizing a slow toe-tap to initiate a barrel with plenty of whip and bat-speed through a slightly uphill path. Demonstrated a fluid lower-half while hitting into a stiff front-side with solid extension. Advanced barrel awareness and feel for his hands allowed for backspin to be created to the deep pull-side gap. Registered a 92 mph bat-exit velocity   and recorded a 7.50 60-yard dash. The third baseman showcased average footwork with long actions displaying a soft glove hand on occasion. Generated a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot yielding accurate 75 mph arm-strength across the diamond. 

Cade Patterson 3B / RHP / Meeker, OK / 2021

The 6-foot-3, 150-pound primary third baseman showcased a long projectable, lean frame with room to add strength. The right-handed hitter starts from a narrow, open stance utilizing a leg-hang with sink to initiate his swing. A quick forward movement allowed for a flat barrel path with length through the baseball generating a 72 mph bat-exit velocity. Showcased feel for his hands while hitting into a balanced, stiff front side. Recorded a 7.41 60-yard dash. The corner infielder played with a low center of gravity and created direct routes to the ball yielding advantageous hops. A soft glove hand and accurate 75 mph arm-strength through a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot will improve with increased strength. 

Mason Toy 1B / 3B / Westmoore, OK / 2024

Showcased some feel for a projectable 5-foot-10, 150-pound frame with present strength. The right-handed hitter begins from a wide, even stance utilizing a leg-lift with bat wiggle over the head to initiate his swing. Unleashed a flat bat path through the zone generating sharp 76 mph line drives with a gap to gap approach. Demonstrated feel for his hands showing some weight shift into a stiff front side. Recorded a 7.96 60-yard dash and played low to the ground during defensive evaluations with adequate range to both sides. Arrived on time to the baseball allowing for a hitchy, high ¾ arm-stroke yielding accurate 71 mph arm-strength across the diamond. 

Mason Wildman 3B / RHP / Harrah, OK / 2021

A durable and broad shouldered 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a wide, open, front foot heavy, and quiet set-up. Uses a moderate, smooth, and controlled leg kick with slight arm-bar load before launching his hands on a flat path through extension with some bat speed and barrel strength. In BP, shows a middle to pull and flat approach, mostly barrels, 83 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.88 60. Defensively, shows deliberate footwork and average hands. Throws with a moderate arm stoke from multiple slots with ease, some accuracy at 82 mph across the diamond.
