Top Prospect
Trey Yesavage, Boyertown Area HS (PA), Class of 2021, RHP/OF
6-foot-3, 210-pound primary pitcher sat 84-86 while touching 87 mph out of an over-the-top arm slot. Physical frame with room to add strength. Gets over front leg well and has the potential for heavy sink to the fastball. Curveball at 66-69 showed two-plane depth out of the stretch. Maintains solid arm speed on changeup at 73-74. Two-way prospect ran a 7.37 60-yard dash and flashed 83 mph arm strength from the outfield. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a feel for the barrel with strength in his lower half while registering a bat exit velocity of 89 mph.
Additional Pitchers (in alphabetical order)
Daniel Errigo, Neshaminy HS (PA), Class of 2020, RHP
6-foot-4, 195-pound righty sat 81-84 from a 3/4 arm slot with a high knee stack and some hip coil to his delivery. Curveball showed 10/4 rotation at 65-69 with sweeping action. Changeup is thrown with good sell at 67-68. Errigo's fastball was up a couple of ticks since last seen in October. Additional velocity is likely moving forward as he continues to fill out his projectable frame.
Logan Holloway, Perkiomen Valley HS (PA), Class of 2020, RHP/SS
6-foot, 175-pound primary pitcher sat 79-80 out of a high 3/4 arm slot. He also displayed a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 69-72 and a changeup at similar arm speed that sat 73-76. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly crouched square stance and initiates his swing with lift-and-replace stride. Showed a feel for the barrel with some length to his swing while registering a bat exit velocity of 80 mph.
Ian Korn, York Suburban HS (PA), Class of 2021, RHP
5-foot-10, 165-pound righty sat 81-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot starting his delivery with a short, side-rocker step. Delivery is balanced and repeatable with signs that additional velocity is coming. Also showed feel for a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 63-66 and a slider with shorter break at 75-79. A quality changeup with good arm speed at 75-77 shows some late sink and gives Korn a solid four pitch mix.
Marcus LaBuda, Hazleton Area HS (PA), Class of 2021, RHP
6-foot-4, 200-pound two-way prospect worked out solely as a pitcher on this date. Sat 80-84 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with balance throughout and a repeatable delivery. There is a small hook in back, but above average extension out front. Also showcased a curveball with sharp 11/5 rotation at 69-70 that he buried down in the zone repeatedly. LaBuda appears to be just beginning to fill into his above average frame and additional velocity is likely moving forward.
Alex Lehman, Downingtown East HS (PA), Class of 2022, LHP/1B
5-foot-9, 170-pound primary pitcher sat 76-80 with a quick arm stroke out of an over-the-top arm slot. Curveball at 67-69 in an above average pitch with tight 1/7 rotation and depth. Changeup at 67-72 is thrown with good sell giving Lehman a solid three pitch mix. Working solely out of the stretch, Lehman displayed good rhythm and balance to his delivery and will be an interesting follow in this class. Left-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a leg hang stride to begin. Throws weight hard to his front side but is able to keep his hands back while demonstrating a feel for the barrel. Registered an 83 mph bat exit velocity and ran an 8.04 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet and a soft glove around the bag at first base with accurate 80 mph arm strength across the diamond.
Kolbie Reeser, Governor Mifflin HS (PA), Class of 2020, RHP
5-foot-10, 170-pound righty sat 77-80 from a high 3/4 arm slot with cut action to his fastball. Changeup at 71-72 is thrown at near fastball arm speed with similar cutting action. Also commanded a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 67-69 and a knuckleball with light tumbling action at 67-69. Pounded the zone with all four pitches and repeats delivery well. Continues to showcase a balanced, athletic presence on the mound with a knowledge of how to pitch.
Daulton Steiner, Warwick HS (PA), Class of 2021, RHP/2B
5-foot-7, 140-pound primary pitcher sat 75-76 from a 3/4 arm slot, beginning his delivery with a substantial side-rocker step. Fastball shows significant cutting action. Changeup at 66-67 is thrown with good sell and a slider at 66-68 displayed late, short break. A curveball at 64-66 showed 10/4 rotation and more sweeping break.
