Following a busy fall of PBR events and the WWBA fall champinonships in Florida it is time to roll out our final update of the 2017 calendar year to our Class of 2019 rankings. This update includes the addition of 25 prospects with the list growing to a total of 130. The next update will not come until early February following the completion of the winter PBR schedule in Pennsylvania that culminates with the Preseason All-State Showcase.
Of the 130 players ranked in this update, 46 have already made their college commitments, including 34 of the top 40 on the list. All 46 commitments to date have been made to Division I programs.

The biggest mover in this update is Harriton HS right-handed pitcher Jack Kochanowicz, a Virginia commit, who excelled at the WWBA fall championships in Jupiter, Florida last month. He delivered the day's first pitch in his start with a firm, 91 mph fastball. Standing tall on the mound at 6-foot-6, 210-pounds, Kochanowicz utilized his height well by getting on top of the ball and creating a downward plane. His fastball sat 87-91 as he pitched effectively to both sides of the plate while elevating, at times. The long-limbed Kochanowicz featured a smooth, steady delivery which he repeated with ease, and allowed him to strike out eight in six and change scoreless innings. His curveball took 11/5 shape at 74-77, and he showed the ability to throw it for strikes. However, it was Kochanowicz's fastball that was the difference maker, and it was overpowering at times.
