April 29, 2020
It was a historic preseason here in Pennsylvania with our boots-on-the-ground scouting staff covering 700+ players at showcase events, all February long. The dust has settled and we are now ramping up our efforts in player rankings, scouting reports, and recap articles. While the outcome of the 2020 HS season is on hold, the Prep Baseball Report (PA) will continue to provide unrivaled coverage for the amateur baseball players in the Keystone State.

Defensively: Solid footwork, easy lateral movements, fields the ball on his glove foot, soft hands. Short arm swing with a low 3/4 arm slot. INF - 74 MPH.
Player Projection
Kirk projects to be a middle of the line up guy in a run producing role. His consistent swing path should result in good solid contact while the power continues to develop as evidenced by his 6 MPH jump in his exit velocity from last November to this February's work out.
Quick Hit
"His strong, physical frame at 6-2, 220 pounds will be a good fit at 1B at the next level. He also showed his athleticism with quality foot work and a soft glove hand around the bag while making accurate throws with adequate arm strength at 74 MPH. His bat speaks for its self with present power and a gap to gap approach the results are sure to follow"
