The 15th overall pick went on to earn Appalachian League Player of the Year honors in his rookie season of professional baseball hitting .306 with 17 extra-base hits and 33 RBI in 55 games with Rookie-level Elizabethton.

Kirilloff had Tommy John surgery following the completion of his rookie season and missed the entire 2017 campaign. If expectations were high for the sweet swinging left-handed hitter coming out of high school, those expectations were more than realized this past season.

During an award winning 2018 season Kirilloff hit .348 with 20 home runs, 44 doubles, seven triples and 101 RBI in 130 games between Class A Cedar Rapids and Class A Advanced Fort Myers.

Kirilloff also represented Team USA in the Futures Game in Washington, D.C. where he went 2-for-2 with a run scored. At the end of the 2018 season the Twins named Kirilloff their organization's Minor League Player of the Year.

Scouting Report

11/11/15 Kiriloff has a long, projectable frame at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds. His BP sessions have been inconsistent and uninspiring at times, but when the game starts, things seemingly click for the Liberty recruit. He has shown some swing-and-miss tendencies in the past, but his swing is loose, quick and produces good raw power. At the Area Code Games, he squared up some elite arms. In Jupiter, he was on time and controlled at the plate, going 5-for-16 with a double and a triple. While he does play a fair amount at first base, Kiriloff is at least an average runner and moves well enough to hold down a corner outfield spot. Kirilloff is now ranked eighth, jumping all the way from 82.

9/24/12 Kirilloff is a 6-foot, 170-pound left-handed hitter who impressed in all facets of the game. The freshman showcased well with an 83 mph bat exit speed velocity and 7.31 60-yard dash time. During game play he demonstrated signs that he has the makings of a special hitter, going 3-for-7 on the weekend.
