A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.
6-foot, 235-pound sturdy frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. Began in an open wide stance with a quick load, then used a toe tap. Bat speed was efficient, and showed an upward swing plane. Created some loud contact during his round. Pull side approach. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 74 mph; has average feet, and soft hands. Had decent accuracy.

6-foot, 235-pound physical frame. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 93 mph. Sets up in an open stance with a quick load. Had upward swing plane and explosive bat speed. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 71 mph; showed consistent hands. Had consistent accuracy. Recorded a 60 time of 7.57 at the event. On the mound, sat with his fastball at 81-82 mph with a max of 82 mph; showed running action and in the zone control. Throws a 11/5 curveball (71-73). changeup shows around the zone accuracy.

Physical corner infielder that went through the workout as a 3B and 1B. Showed nice actions around the bag at 1B, coming off the bag well to start a 3-6-3 DP. At 3B he showed nice arm strength (80 mph) to the 1B bag and played fairly low to the ground. Open stance at the plate and a very simple front side as the foot gets down quickly which allows the barrel to be on time. Very compact, simple yet powerful approach at the plate. Did a nice job keeping the hands and barrel inside the ball and showed a middle to pull approach with backspin. Present strength in the hands and some tilt in the bat path.
11/10/19
Corner infielder that has some physicality to his game. Slightly open stance at the plate and presents a strong presence in the box. Very simple approach showing big time bat speed and strength in the hands. There is definite tilt in the swing path and juice off the barrel as he showed power to all fields. There is some “whip” with the barrel through the hitting zone. Was 88 mph exit velocity off the tee and 77 mph across the diamond. Went through the workout at both 1B and 3B and showed well at both. Moved to his left well at 3B to start the DP and showed solid glove presentation with a very quick transfer to the throw. Very solid coming off the 1B bag to start the 3-6-3 DP and showed nice footwork around the bag
