Arkansas State commit, 2018 1B, (6-Foot-3), 205-pound frame, long levers with strength to the body, offensively, narrow set up with toe tap for rhythm, simple stride lower half works underneath length to swing, line drive approach, long levers with eventual power to swing, exit velo 91 mph, defensively fluid actions, clean funnel, athletic movements, short stroke, 88 mph arm strength.
Pitching:
Long levers with strength to the body, ¾ slot with repeatable delivery, lands slightly across line with spin off lead leg, Showed advanced pitch ability adding and subtracting from his Fastball throwing anywhere from 80-88. 80-84 fastball two seam with depth at the plate, 86-88 four seam with control to glove side, Two types of slrve adding and subtracting anywhere from 72-77. Richardson also showed a changeup with heavy sink at the plate at 77-78 which played like a splitter.

Richardson is a 6-foot-3 190-pound right-hander with a large frame and an athletic build. He showed well during BP; he starts with a tall stance; using a simple load stride combination; he attacks the baseball with aggression and fast bat speed. He has the ability to hit for power to the pull side. In game he showed that he is a true two way player. He pitched 81-84 mph from a low ¾ arm slot with late sink. His ability to command two secondary pitches, make him very intriguing on the mound. His slider worked 72-75 mph with late action. His changeup was 69-71 mph with late sink. Overall Richardson is a solid two way player, with an advanced feel to hit.
Will Richardson is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound RHP. He works from a Low 3/4 arm slot with a quick clean arm and he gets good extension. He locates his fastball on both sides of the plate at 82-84 mph with late sink and touched 86 mph. His changeup is a polished pitch thrown 71-73 mph with arm side run. He also locates Frisbee breaking ball consistently 72-75 mph. He repeats his mechanics consistently with balance and rhythm. Richardson has a projectable frame and an advanced feel to pitch

Will Richardson is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound RHP. He works from a Low 3/4 arm slot with a quick clean arm and he gets good extension. He located his fastball on both sides of the plate at 74-76 mph and touched 81 mph on his last pitch, His fastball had late sinking action. His curveball is a work in progress with thrown at 63-68 mph. His changeup is a more polished pitch thrown at 68 mph with sink and good arm speed. Richardson has a projectable frame and above average athleticism he will be a 2018 to watch as he develops.
