2/12/19 - Uncommitted, viewing in first game of season vs Redwood HS, body description holds up, long lean sinewy build, there are tools but the ability to get the barrel on time and on line was a struggle. Aggressive demeanor and was on the attack, just couldn't quite square up at contact. Swing length necessitates better timing and understanding of how to hit in certain counts. Played center field, showed solid arm in warm-ups with some carry. Saw easy strides in outfield. There are tools, just may take some time for it all to come together.
1/13/19 - Central Valley Preseason ID - Long, lean and high waist on a large frame; projectable build with twitchy speed. Very quick first step with legs that move very quickly and in time with upper half (6.81 60-yd dash). Wide, balanced stance with even hands and high back elbow as bat lays flat on the back shoulder; limited movement in hands during lean load into back hip. Strong transfer of weight through the baseball as hands stay level while showing quick bat speed; drives backside down into the ground with emphasis (88 exit velo). Went gap-to-gap with the ability to drive the ball deep into gaps; strong approach for someone with his speed. Defensively moves well in OF with athletic first step; longer arm action with flashes of quick arm speed when working in time with lower half and kept ball online to both bags (84 mph).
