Body: A stocky build with a lot of strength.  Arjan was athletic and moved on offense well and defensively.  With room to grow and get stronger.

Hit: Standing tall in his 5’10” frame, Arjan uses a bat waggle to gain momentum, loads into back hip well, hands stay inside the ball.  A very aggressive swing to each baseball, tries to elevate every pitch.  Good opposite field hitting in game.

Power: With an aggressive swing, Arjan gets the most out of his swing.  Showing opposite field power in game, he also showed pull side power in batting practice.

Arm: Quick arm action, in transfers he brigns straight up for a short arm action.  Very aggressive but in line throwing motion, 86 mph out of hand.

Defense: Utility type player, that is able to use outfield skills; approach, through the ball, transfers.  To the infield, controls his body well and has fast quick twitch actions.

Run: Out of the start, set up low and ready to fire.  Explodes the last 20 yard and posts a 7.03 time.

vs Elk Grove HS - Uncommited; Stength on compact build on smaller frame; Scrappy competitive hitter, contact oriented approach with ability to muscle a ball through the infield, middle away is a strength as swing can get a bit tied up on pitches on the inner half of the plate, played CF in this game and roamed well on a very windy day that was quickly pushing balls down, made clean reads and showed closing speed and ability to leave feet if need be.

2/06/21

Body: 5-9, 175-pounds. Compact frame, with strength present in the wider chest
Hit: RHH. Bat starts flat on back shoulder lifting hands up with front leg lift; transfers weight into frontside early in swing having hips stop and torso continue through the zone. Quick, flat barrel path stayed with the body on turns and created contact out front of the plate. Spraying type of swing consistently having liners to middle and pull gap. 71.9 Bat Speed Max, 82% Fly Ball/Line Drive %.
Power95.40 mph exit velocity
ArmRH. INF - 87.00 mph. OF - 86 mph. Limited depth, wider throws from ear in both OF/INF, the release was quick with handspeed out front. Action creates cut/run on ball from OF to bases; was more accurate in INF and able to keep throw angles on bag.
DefenseOF kept a slower pace to the baseball and trusted arm to make throws; more space to utilize lower half in throws. INF showed the ability to be on-time to the baseball and fluid in his glove actions. Hips played well in INF opening and allowing him some lateral range
Run: 6.92 runner in the 60.
