Body: 5-10, 175-pounds. Length in the lower half with high waist and strength present in the chest/shoulders. Hit: RHH. Narrow, tall stance with hands away from back shoulder to start; tightens hands back and up on the simple forward step. Sinks into back hip a bit before rotating staying on the backside at finish. Hands stay close on turns with down and through actions; maintains barrel well finishing up with one hand. The ball carried to the pullside gaps due to very good rotations and hand speed. 28.6 gs Max Rotational Acceleration, 73.3 Max Bat Speed, 22.7 Max Handspeed, 90% Fly Ball/Line Drive %, 73% On Plane Efficiency. Orange County Preseason All-State - currently the #9 ranked catcher in the state for the 2022 class. Showed an athletic build and some physical gains in his 5-foot-10 185 pound frame. Hustled throughout the showcase and was one of the few players that prepared on the side prior to his name being called. Presented a compact set-up, solid blocking actions and was active behind the plate. Throwdown accuracy was 50/50 despite a 1.99-2.10 pop time average. Offensively showed athletic actions and desirable modern swing mechanics as he launched the ball with a leg kick and long powerful swing. At times he put too much weight on his back foot to try and create batting practice power which he will have trouble replicating in game at the next level. Shows the tools behind the dish and at the plate that will garner him division 1 attention.

PBR CA STATE GAME - Athletic build with width in chest and strength in build. Showed catching skills and bat speed during games with projection of the skills. At the dish rocks weight over back foot with slight foot lift having hands work back and allowing him to stay behind the baseball. Barrel is quick to the ball staying in the zone with length on finish; projects for extra base hits and showed strong during games with hard single and another ball squared up for RBI. Behind the plate showed very strong arm with quick release (2.15-2.20 Pop); as footwork improves and matches timing with arm should see pop times come down. 2022 to follow.

5-foot-9,185-pounds large frame, strong lower half, young athletic body, with projection. Flashes a gap approach at the plate, using all fields and making consistent contact. He recorded one hit on Sunday - a double with a couple errors that turned into an inside the park home run which gave his team the lead they wouldn’t relinquish. On defense he played right and showed some athleticism and good mobility. Didn't get to see him behind the plate but of what I've seen before his future could be behind the plate. Will be interesting as he continues to progress.

Rising Stars Showcase - Five-foot-9, 185-pounds, large, muscular, strong frame with squared shoulders and strength proportionally distributed throughout body. Behind the plate Lee shows a balanced setup with a wide base providing a large target. Hands are quiet and footwork is quick. Gains ground coming out of crouch. Shows present arm strength. Throws have carry are on online with target. Accuracy is inconsistent with misses going to first base side. Shows athleticism in getting to balls on the dirt in a hurry. At the plate Lee's power is evident and highly projectable. Shows power to all field. Slots elbow well before exploding his lower half and hands into the ball. Shows a consistent uphill barrel path through the zone. Controls the barrel well. Peppered the gaps with line drives during BP and sent three to the warning track in left-center field.
